1. Price drop to £700
2. Something needs to sell so I can buy my new cabs
3.
Cheers Steve, I might take you up on that. Trouble is, I might end up leaving with one of Your DeArmonds .
Defo come round then I think my room is a 10minute drive for you
4.
As long as "amp" isn't a euphemism, sounds good. Where are you based?
Sorry mate I was speaking to Rayman as he's just round the corner from me in Stockport
5. Mate if you want to come to my room and have a play with your amp you are more than welcome I bet we can improve that sad face to a crooked smile
6. I've got a 6u shock mount rack that I use to use with my Mesa 400+ perfect protection for a tube amp if your interested in it
7. You'd get a better sound running them in Parallel because no matter what filter you get with a loop its going to either be pre or post pedal so just as easy to put it before or after, but to achieve those true bootsy squeltches parallel is the way to go.
8. I am a stage gimmick
9.
I heard a Londoner threaten to 'wet' someone up recently. I know it was meant to be threatening, but I nearly 'wet' myself! ON TOPIC - If someone goes to this and has a chance to nick tayste's pedals, there's a few you could sell on to me.
I think that's a good way to find out why it's called Gunchester most of the time
10.
IME Ibanez SB7 and Boss SYB5 both had poor tracking in the low register.
Apart from the complete lack of anything digital in the SB-7 making it not track at all, I think the problem is more to do with your settings
11. Finbar you should come to my northern effects gathering and try all my stuff out I'm sure you'll find something you like
12. Do you mean not the Bass version because it's not very good most guitarists I know that use the digitech opt for the bass one. Personally I've bought around 100 pedals from america and only lost 1 and it was replaced straight away, but it's your choice if you shop around you can probably find the digitech and Ibanez for 80 quid for the pair.
13. I've played the 200w Matamp bass amp and it is a stunner and only £1200 which is really cheap for a completely hand built tube amp, I can see one in my future
14. Is this one of those times when you sit in a room with the artist and Kevin goes "So what instrument do you play?" and you respond with "I most certainly don't play bass and I would at no point like to be anywhere near you if I ever so happened to pick one up"
15.
Bah, Stockport isn't the north
It's close enough to spit on it, hell that's some peoples hobby
16. Get an EHX SMM/H instead much better
17. Anyone?
18. Its different to the BSW as its all analog so it has the more filter fuzz sound to it I've always considered it to be the poor mans prunes and custard. So there is nop tracking with analog its triggering so if you play consistently your sound out of the pedal will be consistant inregards to a constant wah'ing For synth and less than £100 you'd be better off getting a Subdecay Noisebox from America much better and much more unique, or if you want something more dubby and octave down sounding the Sinister Analog Soul Provider But really the SB7 and BSW are so different you could easily have both on a board. BSW is one of the best octavers in the world as well incase you want to kill 2 birds with one stone.
19.
I believe its being substituted for a newer model with a different model name. fm4? something like that anyway
But that's just a looper I believe
20.
Hmm, I'd still appreciate it... So if you hold the bag, you don't get knobs poking the front of it risking being hit sideways by the edge of a door or something?
Pretty much, I've toured with mine but I still ended up getting a hardcase as they are always better for heavy gigging I'll take a pic when I get in
21. I've not heard any lies like this, it's there biggest selling pedal so I highl;y doubt it
22. I've had both and still have the new one, it is no more padded really but it does have semi rigid plastic plates inside it that keep stuff safe, I can post a picture tonight but I don't see the point
23. My wall of amps will keep me safe
24. What with your back I don't think so
25. V-bass isn't a proper effect so you can't come
