I know tayste says on this thread he's used one but wondering if anybody has any detail on one as a comparison? Can't find a pulp mill on tonefactors website
Pulp Mill is special order just email [email protected] mention me and he'll sort you straight out I'll leave the Punch Factory comments but if no one else chirps up I'll post my thoughts on it. I've not heard good things about the BBE

  5. Wish I'd never sold it myself but I did manage after trade aftre trade to get a Mesa Boogie 400+ for it. That was the second Valenti to come in to the UK and for a long time I had the only 3 in the country
  6.
It's mine, all mine surprised it lasted as long as it did, it may not have mutron on the front but it sure sounds nice from the sound clips, and thanks for the offer of taking a deposit ( not needed the wife was looking the other way ) can't wait bring on the FUNK!
Yes many thanks just checked now. PM me the address you want it to go to and I'll get that sorted ASAP Cheers

  8.
Maybe a Fuzz Face? I've seen some pictures where the light makes it look orange. <a href="http://www.answers.com/fuzz%20face" target="_blank">http://www.answers.com/fuzz%20face</a>
But those are about 4 times the size of boss pedals The words moonrock or Expandora spring to mind but neither fit it perfectly
  9.
I'll trade your W&C and £350 for my Swollen Pickle?
hahahahahahaha
  10. Interested in trading the Wren for a PE Depth Charge?......It's Orange
  11. Prescription Electronics Depth Charge - Mint condition recently trades towards it on this forum and it's not really giveing me anything new (But I have 7 other fuzz pedals so not a bad thing). It's the older more sought after orange version and it has an LED unliks the stock picture below (Can't get my camera working currently) - £95 PRICE DROP TO £85 I don't have any soundclips of this but here is a review and soundclips by someone else over at Talkbass - <a href="http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=239513" target="_blank">http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=239513</a> Cheers
  12.
Cool cheers Ste - alright with active basses?
Fine with everything I can throw at it
  13.
why and what benefit do the mods bring?
Just gives it better low end response it is reviewed on Bongo's compressor review page as he did the mods to mine but Tone Factor can now offer these as well. I've owned an EBS Multi Comp, Rane DC24, Boss LMB-3 and tried the Demeter and the Aphex Punch Factory and the Tone Factor really does do it for me.
  14. I highly recommend a Tone Factor Pulp Mill w/Bass Mod if you email them they will sort you out and that will be under £100 other than that you'll be spending over £100 on a new unit as the only others I'd look at is a EBS Multicomp or a Demeter. So shoot [email protected] an email and tell him Steven Taylor sent you his way and he'll sort you out with what I feel is the best pedal compressors. Hope this helps

    Distortions
Tayste_2000, how did you get on with the BAD MONKEY? I have just ordered a Humphrey modded bass version after hearing good reports, i will report in due course
It's good for the money personally I prefer the Hot Head for bass just sounds meaner but both have a digitalness to them (hehe I made a new word) what I mean by that is they aren't very reactive to your playing same sort of gain just quieter if you play softly instead of what most fuzz/distortions and overdrives do where they clean up and such. For the money they aren't bad but I wouldn't pit them against anything boutique, never tried a modded one either
  16. Nope I sent the money yesterday

    Distortions

I would avoid it, didn't impress me one bit it's a much tamer big muff circuit or half a circuit or something along those lines. For what you want I'd look into the Tone Factor Cream Pie, Xotic BB Preamp or Barber LTD but on a budget a Dod 250 might manage it. But I'm sure someone was selling a Cream Pie recently on here for like £50 which is a pretty good price
  18. Interested but can't view ebay so if you can post a pic outside of ebay that would be great. Cheers
  19. For 18v leads if you can't find any you can just use those ones that come with a £20 Maplin brick just incase you mhave one lying around but I'm pretty sure Higgie should have 2 of those already
  20. Did you get my PM I'll defo take this
