1.
My gig poweramp is a "Powersoft Digam 3002". Headroom +1 Although I'm trying to find an aggie tube poweramp as we speak. I'd be interested to hear the Warwick, Jonas Hellborg Poweramp too. They sound like they'd be an interesting amp. In fact now I mention it, I'll do a search on here see if anyone has tried one...
Have you considered one of the mesa power tube amps? they are reasonably easy to find
2.
dude what is that blue fiver??
F Bass

4. Am quite tempted to come but I don't have transport I was also tempted to offer up my practice room since it would be free and is just off the motorway in stockport. Anyone with a large van going from manchester as I can bring a lot of gear
5. Looks like an old PT 1 in the briefcase style hardcase
6. Tried it today and it sounds amazing so I'll be picking it up in a few weeks once the bass speaker has been replaced as it rattles so should be a good practice amp/recording amp. Can't wait Now to find the cash
7. OK interested in seeing pictures now. Cheers
8. It does actually but for another purpose. Do you have a price in mind? Before you go to the trouble of snapping pics and things
9. I have 2 shockmounted racks one 6u which is foam lined and one 8u that is spring mounted with wheels on the back lid meaning easy transport but it can still fit on top of your amp. I'm hoping that someone has a similar spec 12u or more case and would be willing to do a trade theirs for either of these + cash or both. But then again I don't think any of you have a 12u shockmounted case with wheels lying around do you
10. Willing to post at all?
11. I presume you are talking about the Tone Factor one This is kinda a spin on the old bit crushing jokes
12. Gotta get rid of them pesky analogues
13. I have a 500sq ft industrial unit and a large bedroom in my flat as well (2 bed) can easily fit a double bed in it but I don't
14. www.myspace.com/bannedinnorthwich they'll put you on Good stage, sound guy and PA and they do all the promotion all you gotta do is turn up and play
15. Offer reinstated then
16. Bump for a couple of days away
17.
Yeah I have a DB680 + DB728. It was the DB728 that convinced me to order the DB680. If I remember at one point the DB728 was more like the thick end of £3K.
I've played this rig and Man of man I want it but oddly he turned down my offer of a shiny button and a half eaten mars bar. I will be sending my management in the aguilar direction when it comes time to sort endorsements
18. Toasted knows where you can get it fixed I can't remember the name of the shop right now
19. I think we are getting into Kev territory. We've established this isn't an original nothing more need be said about it as long as the person knows they are buying the RI not the Original they can do there own research. We need not state our personal opinions on the pedal
20. My producers said that since I'd done my whole album with my Valenti I couldn't trade it with this one :'( but had a good chat with Rich when we were considering so another thumbs up from me.
21. Thanks for the links I'll check the forum out later I've already seen the other 2 which is where I got most of my information from I'll be on the look out for one of those heads for you
22. I found one of these at a local music shop in mint condition with matching 1x15 bass cab which doesn't have the original speaker but is again in mint condition. I know a little bit about the amp they were made ebtween 1964-1965 and are 15.5w but most of the people I've found talking about them are guitarists and from what I've read this is clearly a bass amp. So any extra info would be great, I'm going to go try it on saturday and see how it sounds but I'm looking for a decent sounding vintage practice amp and possibly recording. Also anything I need to watch out for? Cheers
23. A sale thread is not the place to discuss those things I wasn't pointing out this is good or bad just that it's not what is advertised.
24. I'd say about 60-80 quid I have one of those in better condition and I think I paid 80 for it from Canada but it was from a friend and I paid a little more because he was strapped for cash and obviously shipping has to be taken into account. The 2000's are really rare but the 1000 and 1002 are the most popular due to the price and the PDS20/20 is the one everyone is after. Your best bet to get rid of it would be the Harmony Central Forums then Ebay if you have no luck but I'd ask somewhere between 60-80 since it is a particuarly old one mine is a dark blue you can probably find it in the post your pedalboard thread. I am quite tempted myself but there is a vintage tube amp with my name all over it. But if you don't get any offers over £45 give me a shout
