Early model The Pure Preamp is our time-tested external preamp, featuring +/-20 db bass and mid EQ -, and +/- 16 dB treble EQ controls plus an internal gain trimmer that allows you to adjust the gain from factor 0.5 (half as loud as input signal) to factor 10 (10 times as loud as input signal). This belt clip unit has been specifically designed for the frequencies of the acoustic guitar but it is also great for many other instruments. For more information click here: https://kksound.com/products/purepreamp.php Works great on electric and double bass, very clean. Comes with box and instructions (printed out a4 sheet) that I assume are original, will leave the battery in it ready for use. Shipping - Included

Behringer's clone? tribute? ripoff? of the Sansamp BDDI/Bass Driver. Great condition basically unused for many many years. Part of a big clearout of stuff I'm just not using or doesn't meet my requirements. Great condition, fairly sure I have the box that I can dig out. Almost too cheap to sell but postage included in the price and price firm, so firm any offers I'm not even going to reply to

This floor version of our RPM rackmount provides the same detailed tone shaping possibilities for any signal source. It is particularly useful with acoustic, electric and bass guitars, and upright bass, either direct to a mixing console or with an instrument amplifier. The Para Driver DI gives your instrument a natural warmth and presence, as if miking it through a tube pre-amp. The SansAmp circuitry eliminates the harsh, unnatural harmonics of piezo pickups, while the Drive control offers some tasteful edge โ just a little or over-the-top. For more information click here: https://www.tech21nyc.com/products/sansamp/paradriver-di/ As mint as a mint thing, boxed, with no velcro underneath. Basically been playing around with DI's and preamps and I don't need 7 ๐คทโโ๏ธ Got in a trade for quite frankly a great price especially considering the condition. The Diabolik fuzz pedal is based on the B:Assmaster circuit and while working with Justin on refining itโs signature sound, we tuned it specifically to allow more low end to pass through both the Clean and Fuzz channels. The result is a pedal that ranges from a subtle harmonic fuzz to extreme, mangled low end squash thatโs perfect for bass and guitar alike. Bought recently for a great price on this forum and as such can't be making a profit on it, so my saving is your saving. Boxed with the sticker, mint condition. Velcro on the bottom. Shipping - ยฃ5

Sansamp Paradriver will get you close to what youโre after feature wise. Just missing the parametric on the bass and treble but they are very nicely selected freq points

All the stuff that didnโt make the cut. But was fun to have something arrive everyday for a week ๐

There is a button you push to change voicing, so essentially no you can't do what you want there. It's either Bass Driver or VT on both channels. Exactly this. Which is a shame because again had that been an option I'd be all over it.
-
I just want one without the fx section the same size as the SH1 or dug.
-
Dubby is an understatement ๐

Thatโll be one hell of a volume jump when you kick in the fx10 ๐ Have you messed with the setting where the tone is all the way off?

Got them on my Kay specifically for that plunky tone, they work great not sure how different they really are to flats. I was surprised by how round a tone I got out of them but it is very much in that thumpy territory. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/KfXJWHtgQN4mranTA -

It's got D'addario tapewounds on it so it's got quite a low of bass but not the huge pillowly low end I normal play with, but that's exactly what I wanted it for that plunky beatles bass tone. I'm using it on 1 track in the studio next week with a felt pic, a bit of palm muting, the the tone wide open. So far it's doing what I need it to and it's oh so light Not tried it yet through all my pedals yet, the only fuzz I have at the moment is the Malekko Diabolik which is just brutal on everything. Basically I got it for that plunky short scale sound but also as a studio toy for when someone's like can we just try something different. Which is the point that this and the fuzz and octave pedals come out ๐ I very nearly bought your mustang but it was too proper of a bass for what I want right now ๐๐ but man do I love shortscales

This is what I originally wanted and sparked the idea, particularly when a Khan came up for sale recently. That said as a huge Leland Sklar he used a Groove Tubes Di for most of the 00's so it had always been in the back of my mind, you just never see them for sale in the UK I think we're in the same boat, I didn't need a tube di when sessions were held at studios but we're all doing more and more home recording and we need ways of making those ยฃ100 interfaces sound better ๐

But with the Diabolik you've got the clean signal to blend in, so with the OC-2 first that's OC-2 signal (clean) and OC-2 Signal Fuzz'd coming through and blendable and with you blending your clean signal on the OC-2 it's 3 layers of signal going on. Best thing I could do is put the OC-2 and Diabolik in the LS-2 (accept the issue of a buffer) and have the option to run them in series or parallel and in any order. But currently playing Americana and country, it stays at home for when I'm jamming those Dua Lipa covers ๐

More common that you think, see A designs REDDI. Same clean signal you expect from any DI box but with more harmonic content, additionally they almost always have a gain stage to push a hotter signal if you want to. This one specifically has a huge transformer in it as well which helps with the quality of sound. Live I wouldn't recommend it, too subtle, too big and too heavy of a box but in the studio it's that extra piece of magic. I primarily run IEM's so between the bass and a good quality DI there isn't really a lot else in my chain for me to spend money on. ๐ Additionally, now with foamed out Peli case.

No, someone else snagged it. My own fault for messing around.

Prepping for the studio. Same board, different mess

Cheers, I played around with the order of each and every pedal and those 2 ended up first and also happen to not suit anything Iโm doing at the moment ๐ But all of it fits in/on my gig bag with any of the Diโs I end up taking. So itโs quite easy to take all the flavours to practice or the studio.
