1. Bump, will be in London on the 9th April so could bring this down on the train with me
2. Bought this as my intro to double bass, I've gigged it for the past 2 years or so, had many compliments, I actually think it looks nicer than most KK Basses as it's a Solid slab of cherry wood over the fibreglass they use in the production model. As such it does have the down side of being weighty but since it's not slung over your shoulder that shouldn't be an issue Uses a magnetic pickup, currently strung with Gut like strings that I bought off Clarky for a reasonable price but they were still a small fortune Action is currently set very low. 1 noticeable chip on the right shoulder (see pictures) Comes with a Stagg stand and a ratty case Open to offers, no trades really, would rather not ship (based just outside Manchester in Macclesfield) - £300 ono
3. Having a bit of a clearout (of all my vinyl actually) but here are the ones that might interest you my fellow bass brethren. 4. Bought an amp off me, great to deal with would happily do business again
5. Over the years From this To
6. 2 X 1m (roughly) obbm bassics speakon to speakon cables. £15 for the pair, will not split Cheers
7. Ampeg b100r Hopefully have it before the end of the week, in the meantime buy my 2x12
8. TH350 SOLD Now only looking for a sale on the cab as buying a combo. But as per usual I will listen to trade offers on none amp stuff and I do still need a double bass Cheers
9. No worries, I'm still interested as I've got 2 solid offers on the TH350, just wanted the cab to go before I bought a combo, but you know when you want something. I'll check the pics and let you know
10. Any interest in a part ex on any of the following? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/277338-aguilar-th350-matamp-neo-2x12/ Looking forward to the pictures
11. Testing the water here and ideally would like a trade. I'm actually quite happy with this rig but most gigs I'm going ampless and when I do use this I've barely got it on 1/4 so I can potentially go smaller with a different cab/combo and I think given what I'm doing a 1x15 would be best for me. Aguilar TH350 Bought new less than 6 months ago. Not much to say, amp is in mint condition. SOLD Matamp Neo 2x12 Red Basketweave Tolex Black speaker cloth and hardware 4ohm & 16ohm switchable (for vintage amps) Weight - 21.8kgs 600w SOLD This is a one of a kind cab made for me using squarer dimensions and an offset 2x12 configuration over the vertical alignment of the traditional bass 2x12, this was largely so at the time a newer GT200 MK2 could fit on top of it. I don't believe another has been made since and if it has it won't have been red and it won't have had switchable impedance. Proof of weight when I picked it up from the factory in 2013 If someone wants the lot great, if someone wants the head then I'm afraid the cab needs to go first. So trades wise either looking at a part ex with money my way on a 1x15 cab, pretty much anything considered but the lighter and smaller the better, else 1x15 combo's against either the cab or the whole lot particularly interested in the TC Electronics BG250-115. I'll also consider powered PA speakers. Items located just outside Manchester in Macclesfield, will ship at buyers expense but would prefer collection.
12. I love the sonic port, it's so simple and works. The only other interface I'd consider is the track dock by Focusrite, but it's so easily outdated when the shape of the iPad or connector changes. (like my first Alesis dock) I've been tempted with everything else on your list but never had an issue with either of my sonic ports, I use them on a range of instruments, in a range of settings. it's a cheap way to get started. The only other one I've considered is the Apogee Duet so that I can use it with a soft step controller over usb. But these days I'm barely using the iPad and just grabbing my phone when I have to. When Flux for iPhone comes out my iPad will be used for reading magazines only
13. Great heavy mute for bass, bought one of these a while ago then fitted an ashtray to my p bass and now it doesn't fit so it's pretty much unused, lot of fun and a different tone to what you get with your hand. http://www.gruvgear.com/fump £15 Shipped
