  1. This is what I originally wanted and sparked the idea, particularly when a Khan came up for sale recently. That said as a huge Leland Sklar he used a Groove Tubes Di for most of the 00's so it had always been in the back of my mind, you just never see them for sale in the UK I think we're in the same boat, I didn't need a tube di when sessions were held at studios but we're all doing more and more home recording and we need ways of making those £100 interfaces sound better 😂
  2. But with the Diabolik you've got the clean signal to blend in, so with the OC-2 first that's OC-2 signal (clean) and OC-2 Signal Fuzz'd coming through and blendable and with you blending your clean signal on the OC-2 it's 3 layers of signal going on. Best thing I could do is put the OC-2 and Diabolik in the LS-2 (accept the issue of a buffer) and have the option to run them in series or parallel and in any order. But currently playing Americana and country, it stays at home for when I'm jamming those Dua Lipa covers 😇
  3. More common that you think, see A designs REDDI. Same clean signal you expect from any DI box but with more harmonic content, additionally they almost always have a gain stage to push a hotter signal if you want to. This one specifically has a huge transformer in it as well which helps with the quality of sound. Live I wouldn't recommend it, too subtle, too big and too heavy of a box but in the studio it's that extra piece of magic. I primarily run IEM's so between the bass and a good quality DI there isn't really a lot else in my chain for me to spend money on. 😎 Additionally, now with foamed out Peli case.
  4. No, someone else snagged it. My own fault for messing around.
  5. For size comparison 😂
  6. New Tube DI Day
  7. Prepping for the studio. Same board, different mess
  8. Cheers, I played around with the order of each and every pedal and those 2 ended up first and also happen to not suit anything I’m doing at the moment 😂 But all of it fits in/on my gig bag with any of the Di’s I end up taking. So it’s quite easy to take all the flavours to practice or the studio.
  9. Does it have a matching headstock because if it did we might need to talk 😂
  10. Don't know if this is poor form, but I've declined the offer of £1399 on this, I think there is an agreement to be had between 1300 and 1399. But at the moment I'm just holding off (my initial offer was a bit rash). So if anyone wants to go for it feel free. If not I'll likely have lost my senses again in a few days to a fortnight and snag it.
  11. Well I’ve got a counter offer from the seller currently that I’m nursing 😬 feel like I’m stepping on your toes
  12. I’m endeavouring to own this one 😂
  13. Ah, that's a shame (for my very very specific use case) but thanks for taking the time to answer. GLWTS
  14. Obscure question: If using the Aux in, does the Aux in audio come out of both the phones and the output or just the phones? Suppose same question extends to the DI output too.
  15. How much for just the RNDI?
  16. Well you get it so it's easier for me to have it eventually
  17. Was hoping for a 5 but thanks for the info @AndyTravis
  18. How many strings and what fretboard wood (literally light or dark 😬)
  19. I'm sorta hoping you're also bored with the PB300 and you have it in Red 😂🤣😂
  20. A good idea, until I cave and add 2 octavers and a compressor, then breakout the PT nano again
  21. I believe it's too high draw for that
  22. Micro board SFX Di/iem mixer and a volto. Still need to add some foam or feet to it to level it out.
