Beautiful, I"m just working toward picking an 83/84 fretless Original Bass, so then I'll have 3 in that shape -

Due me just never finding anything I'm happy with I have a Pedaltrain 2 up for sale, it's the older version with the black (slightly lighter) flightcase, the case is covered in stickers. Currently I'm leaning to a few small boards instead of 1 big one and I fancy a collection of PT's and Pelican cases The board is again the older PT2 so it doesn't have the holes in the back for the Voodoo Labs Power Supply, obviously this is only a concern if you're going to use this power supply, in which case you really need to take another look at Diago and Gigrig again Board is a bit tatty and dust but structually solid, with the soft felt velco on the board, no spare velcro will be included in the sale. Pedals not included but they are for sale elsewhere. I'm happy to do part ex for a Pedaltrain Jr HC/SC or a Pedaltrain Mini, maybe a Nano with cash adjustment where required. After £80 collected, post will be like £10-£15 with Parcel Force but I'm sure we can come to a deal, trading though some way or another would be best for me.

SOLD - Super Cheap Overwater Evolution

OK, so here's the deal this is my first Overwater (but not my oldest) I think it was made around 2005/2006 and was my main bass for a few years, made me sell all my Valenti's and misc other basses. It's a bolt on neck, 5 string, 35 inch scale bass with a maple body, maple neck and I assume something along the lines of rosewood for the fretboard but could be something a bit more exotic being Overwater it's the lightest bass I own, I'll post the weight tonight. The bass largely looks black but it's a trans purple finish, it has one small dent towards the upper horn (I'll get a picture later tonight) about the size of a jack tip (funny that) So I'm after £700 ono for this, now why so cheap, well it doesn't get played I have 4 Overwaters including this and a Rickenbacker and I've managed to find an original shape fretless (I have 2 original shape basses already, it's kinda my thing ). Futher more my band tune ADGCF so a full step down from standard so 2 of my Overwater's are 36 inch scale and again, it's just become my my thing and what I'm comfortable with. So with trying to keep my bass limit down to 5, I figure this is the only one I can let go. So this is your chance to score a real Overwater for less than some of the Aspiration basses. To confirm, there is no case included in the sale of this and I would prefer collection, I'm based in Manchester however the fretless I'm buying is in Reading so I can deliver for free to around this area and kill 2 birds with one stone. Would be tempted to part ex for a Tanglewood Overwater Jazz, as a beater is always nice for when I have to cycle places, but ideally a sale. As stated open to offers

So same old same old, M13 and M9 just does everything for me and I only use that many effects in the studio which is down to a few times a year now. Boss OC-2 Fully working but cosmetically looking a bit ghetto, lots of chips hence the price but as stated works perfectly with no issues SOLD Catalinbread Super Chili Picoso Boost Looks like this Again a little loathed to sell it as it's such a fantastic boost for my tube amps, but I've used the SFT as my go to for many years now and this is just sat around as a backup. it is the older model with the 2 voicing which is what you want as a bass player, ones super spanky clean and the other is a nice phat boost. £75 Dod 250 Fully working, good condition, few scratches etc not a lot else to say, sounds killer on bass. £30 Testing the water DOD Meatbox Like new, but with velcro on the bottom, comes with box and instructions, I did have the stickers but I stuck them on something, it's a tough one because I absolutely love the tone of this pedal but, I don't use any effects often and it's a lot of money to be sat around in the spare room. Looking around the £170 mark but open to offers sorta, unless I decide to keep it.

Only issues with interfaces like the Irig (I have one) is that they bleed, so if your doing looping, whatevers playing will bleed into the need layer you're recording, which can be very annoying if you're turning layers on and off through a song.
I'd like to tag on to this thread by asking also which is the better of the ipad interfaces out there? I'm leaning towards the Line 6 Mobile In interface, though i know the Apogee Jam is also good, yet doesn't come with the likes of Line 6's 'pod-like' software.
Depends if your going to need midi and audio, the apogee jam is awesome if you just need audio, I needed audio and midi so the only option is the alesis iodock and its ok, but its designed for the iPad 1 and getting the 3 in is a bit of a faff unless it ships with the correct adaptor now
-
Yeah thats how it works (re storage 5 tracks etc), and yes if you didn't want to load them on to a computer you would want a lot of storage, I just find as jam tools go the simpler units are better and more fun, but then I play and forget, or record it on another device. I've tried to get an Ipad being a decent looper setup but the midi implementation is always a bit iffy.
-
Line 6 DL4 or EHX SMMH just because they are a lot more fun for a beginner looper than the units you mention. Also I never understand this requirement with loopers to store 35+ minutes, how long are your tracks?????
-
I've played around with Loopy, which is by far the best looper app on the Ipad, issues come when to really use it well you need an Alesis IODock and a decent midi footswitch, I used the Behringer FCB1010 which is fine but then found the Line 6 M9 will work just as well, but if you've got that your looping needs might be covered. Effectively there is no decent way to loop if you don't have foot control to start and stop recording,

Just to clarify the new 3 band models are wider than the older 2 band versions so bare that in mind.

Bought this a few months ago as an experiement, turns out I was correct and have now moved on to something a bit smaller. Really good condition, with box only selling because I'm able to use a Line 6 M9 as a midi controller and fx unit. Will put pics up soon, also will be listing on ebay when I can be bothered. £60ono
