1. Would you be willing to split any of this, mainly interested in some of the cymbals, bass drum case and hardware case. Cheers
2. The BB will win that shootout I think, unless you're after a fuzz pedal
3. Also if you use lots of FX, they don't sound great IMHO going into the front end of a POD (Not enough dynamic reaction) I also had an issue with the output of the BPP powering a Mesa Strategy 400, shame because it's so cool to have a 2u rack with all your sounds, tune and fx in it and you can run it with pretty much any amp combination. It's certainly something I've reconsidered since I went to IEMs, but my rig just sounds soooooooo good, even through headphones
4. Worth a few hundred quid depending on condition, I had some PA100's the AP's are more desirable due to the Bowie connection, but condition is key with these things. A revalve and full check over by a decent tech will run upto £200 (as with everything you can do this cheaper yourself but do you really want to?) and I wouldn't even turn the thing on if it's just come out of a shed after 30 years of none use. Nice sound out of them, I use to use mine with a Ported Matamp 4x10 and it was loud enough for most bands, with a bit of grit going on. It's a great thing to have around for sure, nice sound, well built
5. Did a bit of research and it turns out my Fodera bag is an Undercover bag, might invest in a single version if I can find anywhere selling them.
6. I'll take The Mars Volta - Amputechture The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute Karnivool - Sound Awake Dream Theater - Black Clouds and Silver Linings I put all my cd's away in booklets so I don't need the cases if I can save a bit of postage that way? Just the CD's, artwork and liner notes PM a total price and a paypal address to send it to. Cheers
7.
HAHA no they are both firmly part of the contingent which SURVIVED or was a product of the overhaul. In fact the M9 is the main reason why I sold nearly all of my pedals.
Same with the M13, I only buy weird pedals now
8. Let me know when that M9 comes up for sale if it's in your binge *edit* I'll take the PT-2 as well
9. Probably best to just sell me all your overwaters then
10. I sent an email to Mono re something akin to an M80 XL they say they have no plans at the moment but if enough people show interest they would look to add it.
11. Had this for a good few years and actually recorded my last album using it. Matamp are now able to deliver me a small home tube amp so there is no point keeping this now. Back in 1957 this would have been a PA amp, now it's an awesome recording and home practice amp. For valves the full kit is: 2 x ECC83, 2 x EL84, EF86, EZ81. From what I can see most of these are vintage. It has 4 inputs all with weird connectors, a cable that allows you to use 2 of those suitable for bass will be included and I have another cable that uses a mic channel and if you use this on bass you'll get the grittiests, most tube driven tone you've ever heard. Can handle 15 and 6 Ohms. so 16 and 8 ohms I've been using it with an 8ohm cab for the past few years and it really does sound amazing, Now it's recently developed a considerable hiss, this is likely due to it not having a service for a good few years, I'm sure it's an easy fix so much so that I am willing to get it fixed, but I'll provide a discount to anyone who wants to take it as is as a hobby piece. Now for the pricing, I'm after £175 as is, or £250 all serviced and fixed up, I do this because some people enjoy messing with these as hobbies so shouldn't be stung by me getting the work done by the ever professional Dave Lunt It's a very well built amp, very light as well and I would be willing to post it if required, however this will be extra. http://distilleryimage2.instagram.com/36c0eeded37511e1bb6a1231381f737d_7.jpg http://distilleryimage4.instagram.com/58e1a3e6d37511e1b5561231380f91a6_7.jpg Cheers
12. Yes I did I was in it to win it, so if you'd have gone for it, it would have gone for around double that before I was going to let it get away
13. Small world, only no one said anything nice about my blog. I also have a Meatbox incoming and this week brought a Aria FL-10, Digitech PDS 2700, DOD FX25 and a Behringer FCB1010 Now to decide on a pedalboard size
14. Ha me too going for a re-valve and service of the GT200. Maybe I'll see you there
15. Hey Dosi, any idea where the Soul Provider ended up
16. If you use a leather strap the slots in it are perfect for the G30 clip
17. So gutted about the M80. Yeah if you have an older one which we both do the angled headstock in a stuff case is very worrying. I'd buy a Mono M80XL single and double in a heartbeat, along with some pedaltrain bags in case Mono are listening
18. A question to very few forum members but which gig bag for those 36inch scale 4 inline monsters I'm currently using a fodera double bag which holds 2 ok but I've started riding my bike to practice and I'm wondering if there is something more comfortable and better built? I know incase won't fit, the harvest/overwater bags do but have very uncomfortable straps, I also think mono won't fit and I'm not a fan of Ritter as they seem to fall apart of me. Any ideas would be great. Cheers
19. Not actually current but after several hours of sorting I'm not holding this back just so I wait for a pic of my current board http://www.tayste.co.uk/2012/06/27/evolution-of-a-pedalboard-and-a-player/ Enjoy
20. Can you flick me a price for the Behringer FCB1010 midi foot controller shipped? Cheers
21. The M series is still the best processor I've owned (shame the guitarist uses mine at the moment) the sounds and control are amazing.
