1. Here are some pics that Quimby sent over Awesome rig and loving the flightcases
2. Quimby, just wondering if you've got anything recorded with that DI yet?
3. Can I ask what you are running on the ipad and macbook?
4. Ah ok, 'fraid I'll have to pass. Thanks though
5. Yes I believe it does have the neo speakers, they are a custom set for Matamp to allow them to get a true 8ohm cab instead of the usual 5.333etc 6x10's
6.
Sorry to jump on this for sale thread, I don't usually do it and try not to...however, Can anyone tell me how this would compare to an Ampeg SVT610 and whilst I'm at it, hows the top end, I notice from the pics that there's no tweeter, it looks that way at least. Cheers. PS, I play Blues......mainly.
Wondering what you need the tweeter for if you're playing blues, but having played these I can say they do have a very bright tight punchy sound, it is a sealed cab so has that snap to it. Very nice and controlled overall. I've never tried the Ampeg 6x10 but I have compared the Matamp 8x10 (which I own) and various Ampeg 8x10's and there is no comparison. Also worth noting the Matamp is a true 8 ohm cab due to the rare 12ohm individual speakers, most 6x10's are like 5.3ohms or something which can cause you some issues if you're running a tube amp. Hope this helps
7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Unique-Green-Matamp-Bass-Amp-Cabs-/190677671174?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Amplifiers_RL&hash=item2c65465d06#ht_660wt_1366 Yeah looks like a highly modified GT120 Good price, good amp for a doubler but anyone just after a bass amp would get more joy out of a GT200. In saying that, if you like to run a cranked amp with a bit of twang I could see this being great. The 2x15 in it is certainly interesting as a fane loaded cab
8. It doesn't beat a Matamp 8x10 but it sure is close. The 1x18 is awesome, if I wasn't getting married I'd have one by now and it will be my first purchase post honeymoon
9. Sorry someones jumped in before you, think this is sold pending payment, shame because would have been much easier to meet up
10. Selling my beloved Pedaltrain Mini, this board has toured with me across the US and UK for over 3 years, its got a few chips in the paint and some wear on the bag but everything is perfectly functional and end of the day it's a pedaltrain so just bomb proof. After 55 ono for it, it's the older version with the backboard which is great for mounting a power supply to. I would potentially part ex for a PT Nano but price would have to be right for shipping etc. Looks like this Cheers
11. The best boost money can buy (imho) had this a while and before it I had the Serrano boost which is a fixed switch position of this pedal in a mini case. Pedal is in great condition (bit dirty) has velcro on the bottom and is in full working condition. Reason for sale is it isn't on my band board and with my impending wedding the money could go to help pay the massive catering bill Works great with my Matamp, it's got a ton of clean headroom. Able to drive any amp into submission. More info here: http://www.catalinbread.com/SuperChiliPicoso.html The Super Chili Picoso is Catalinbread’s infamous MOSFET boost. The SCP based off of the “MOSFET BOOST” circuit designed by the great Jack Orman . MOSFETs characteristics are great for guitar boost due to their musical sparkle, HiFi response, and immediate feel. The SCP utilizes every advantage of the MOSFET.
The SCP has three main functions: -Buffer Mode -Clean Boost Mode -Fat Grit Boost Mode

Buffering Mode turn the boost knob down and you have the perfect buffer, high input impedance, very low output impedance and mirror perfect tone presentation. Clean Boost Mode provides upward of 35dB of boost that will help you leap through the mix or drive your amp into a natural overdrive. Fat Grit Boost Mode provides a ton of boost while adding girth and pleasing harmonics that fill-out your tone.
The SCP gives you MORE of what you've already got! After 90ono no trades Cheers

17.
£450! Was that from a shop, as it seems waaaaay over the odds to me. I bought a tidy example for £130 a few years ago, and if I remember correctly Tayste sold an even nicer one on here for the same kind of money. They were made by Matsumoku in the early seventies, but that's all I know about them.
Yep I had one, very good condition and got around that I don't really recall the exact amount I'd say somewhere between 150-200. They aren't all that desirable and for the value they are far more fun to just wack some flats on and thump away. Basically a better bass than the sub 200 you'll get for it, might be worth sticking under a bed for another 20 years but end of the day it's a low cost production bass out of Japan in the 70's Hope this helps
