Overwater Original Series (four and/or five-string models)
A five-string from 2005: Uploaded with ImageShack.us
That would be the one I own and use as my main bass at the moment don't know whose picture it is though -
Has anyone already tried the new GT200? I also wonder if depth and presence controls are still useful with bass/mid/treble tone stack?
I've tried it and yes they are, personally I've never liked the depth control, I never run it anything but full, the presence works better now with the mids, more how it should if that makes sense. Overall the mid control is a fantastic edition and turns the GT200 into a do anything amp, personally I still prefer the 2 band because it's a little bit more KISS, in saying that mine is customised so I have an internal tone control so I don't touch any eq when I gig. I'll be definitely picking up a Bass DI in November with the new 3 band eq in it, its so easy to dial the 2 band sound in and you have all that additional flexibility.

Definately like

Not a terrible idea, grab 2 PT Mini's or Nanos (I recommend the Nano as the fact it clips to your gig bag makes it all that much easier to grab and go)

Bought a diago power supply from him, great guy, no issues, very happy indeed

Having owned loads of wahs I can honestly say the Kimbara/Shin Ei Wah is my favourite and not to pricey if you can find one. I still really want to try a Wilson vintage wired 12 position Q wah, I had their Freaker model and it was great just had a bit to much LPF on it for me, TBH I'd probably love that now

The BB will win that shootout I think, unless you're after a fuzz pedal

Also if you use lots of FX, they don't sound great IMHO going into the front end of a POD (Not enough dynamic reaction) I also had an issue with the output of the BPP powering a Mesa Strategy 400, shame because it's so cool to have a 2u rack with all your sounds, tune and fx in it and you can run it with pretty much any amp combination. It's certainly something I've reconsidered since I went to IEMs, but my rig just sounds soooooooo good, even through headphones

Worth a few hundred quid depending on condition, I had some PA100's the AP's are more desirable due to the Bowie connection, but condition is key with these things. A revalve and full check over by a decent tech will run upto £200 (as with everything you can do this cheaper yourself but do you really want to?) and I wouldn't even turn the thing on if it's just come out of a shed after 30 years of none use. Nice sound out of them, I use to use mine with a Ported Matamp 4x10 and it was loud enough for most bands, with a bit of grit going on. It's a great thing to have around for sure, nice sound, well built

Did a bit of research and it turns out my Fodera bag is an Undercover bag, might invest in a single version if I can find anywhere selling them. -
HAHA no they are both firmly part of the contingent which SURVIVED or was a product of the overhaul. In fact the M9 is the main reason why I sold nearly all of my pedals.
Same with the M13, I only buy weird pedals now
-
Let me know when that M9 comes up for sale if it's in your binge *edit* I'll take the PT-2 as well

I sent an email to Mono re something akin to an M80 XL they say they have no plans at the moment but if enough people show interest they would look to add it. -
Had this for a good few years and actually recorded my last album using it. Matamp are now able to deliver me a small home tube amp so there is no point keeping this now. Back in 1957 this would have been a PA amp, now it's an awesome recording and home practice amp. For valves the full kit is: 2 x ECC83, 2 x EL84, EF86, EZ81. From what I can see most of these are vintage. It has 4 inputs all with weird connectors, a cable that allows you to use 2 of those suitable for bass will be included and I have another cable that uses a mic channel and if you use this on bass you'll get the grittiests, most tube driven tone you've ever heard. Can handle 15 and 6 Ohms. so 16 and 8 ohms I've been using it with an 8ohm cab for the past few years and it really does sound amazing, Now it's recently developed a considerable hiss, this is likely due to it not having a service for a good few years, I'm sure it's an easy fix so much so that I am willing to get it fixed, but I'll provide a discount to anyone who wants to take it as is as a hobby piece. Now for the pricing, I'm after £175 as is, or £250 all serviced and fixed up, I do this because some people enjoy messing with these as hobbies so shouldn't be stung by me getting the work done by the ever professional Dave Lunt It's a very well built amp, very light as well and I would be willing to post it if required, however this will be extra. http://distilleryimage2.instagram.com/36c0eeded37511e1bb6a1231381f737d_7.jpg http://distilleryimage4.instagram.com/58e1a3e6d37511e1b5561231380f91a6_7.jpg Cheers

Yes I did I was in it to win it, so if you'd have gone for it, it would have gone for around double that before I was going to let it get away
