1. Damn he's in Manchester and I don't have a ticket.

3. Everything sold apart from the Rush Dvd any interest? Anyone? Cheers
4. Yeah, sorry it's not really for me
5. Yeah it's not really my thing tbh. I assume we're talking about a straight swap?

9.
I'm really thinking about drilling a hole in my front rack cover for one of these super silencing leads to come out of and that's the only access the borrower has. You're lucky if it's the volume, normally these c**ts turn up the gain. Next week's moan: People who use fuzz pedals through my amps, what can I do about them? Haha.
Fuzz pedals are fine, that's them using a compressed signal into your amp you should be happy. You should worry about people like me with boost pedals
10. You should gig more with me and just use my gear
11. So I assume that was a no then
12. Does Sarah know?
13. Ok so I had these up for sale and sold them. I had barely used them, never taken them to gigs just used in the practice room to make me feel like the superstar I am on the inside. Well the buyer was unhappy with the lights as he didn't think they were bright enough or as bright as they should be. Personally they've always seemed fine and inkeeping with other Martin Robocolours I have seen but I refunded the guy and he decided that he would buy the tripod stand they were on which was fine. He also commented that upon opening one of the lights it looked like it had an exploded capacitor inside, again the light worked but there is a safety issue with this. Again I didn't know as I don't open things up that I know nothing about and as such I've never confirmed his story. So in light of all this I'd judge these as faulty, faulty in the sense that you plug them in and they turn on and lights come out and said light changes to the music, they might need new bulbs as these are apparently too dim but again you might find them just fine. Here is the original post where I bought them from for £200 plus I went on the 6 hour round trip to get them http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=44153 So £100ono collection only, will turn them on and you must confirm you are happy or satisfied with what you are seeing, will not leave on too long as I may think I'm at a rave and start taking my clothes off. You are getting 4 lights, 1 dmx compatible control box and all cables required to hook them up. Also I would like to add I have no hard feelings to the BC'er that sold me these or the BC'er that bought them off me and subsequently returned them about a year ago. I've not used them since, nor did I use them before and frankly they are in the way. Any questions ask away. Cheers
14. Bump, still interested
15. £5 for the Rush dvd? I'll keep The Who I like them
16.
PS, The LS-2 is awesome. It's the pedal world's Swiss Army Knife. Although beware. Your setup will end up getting a whole lot more complicated!
But in a good way, this is how so many of those classic fx sounds have been achieved, really though the ultimate system is an LS-2 with 2 signal chains in parallel all in the loop of an X-Blender, that is the ultimate in usable bass fx, isn't that right Higgie. I would look at getting a preamp in the Jazz over using an external preamp but that's just me, I went down that road and it was annoying to always have to take the entire board with me to get my tone.
17.
I had my Mu-Tron re-calibrated by L-Sound in the states and that helps to avoid some of the problems with tone sucking as it is now true bypass and works fine for live use. Only just got the Sadowsky so no chance of that going anywhere and the Serrano came from you originally if you remember?
Higgie had the same done to his Mutron. What amp do you have? Personally I'd ditch the Sadowsky Pre-amp & EBS Multi-Comp, the Serrano is the tiny boost from Catalinbread so it's hardly taking up room, you could look at getting a Octavius Squeezer to replace the 00Funk and Brown Dog. You do have a lot of filters, would look at ditching a few and just having 2 and something like an LS-2 to run them in parallel to get those really wet sounds that no single filter can do on it's own.
18. The effects that lose low end are the models of fx that lose low end so it's fairly true to form.
19. I wouldn't mind, honest
