1.
I'm not sure to be honest Steve, that's way beyond me! I'm rushing about at the moment but will try and have a look at the manual tomorrow to see if that's possible C
Do you wanna hold of on posting my gigbag then and I'll see if I can afford this tonight after my gig and then I can save on the postage by sending them together
2.
theres no danger of shock with changing valves.
Unless you pull them out with your mouth It seems the Little Bastard suffers from the same issues most Mesa 400+'s do, they just shouldn't be putting 12ax7's in the drive section.
3. Does the footswitch work like a trigger? So like a faux bass drum if I was doing some crazy one man band thing
4. Ok buys gigging till Sunday so will be putting it on ebay Monday but rest assured it won't be getting cheaper there, deals and low prices only available to the community. Cheers
5. Seriously offers, will part ex on low wattage vintage amps Fender Bassman, Selmer TnB 50 etc
6. Wow bump from the 3rd page overnight
7.
Hopefully it would be too difficult to create that kind of racket and we could hear some nicely played acoustic action instead
That sounds quite contary to the term Bass Day
8. Oddly the best sound we've got from a video camera live is a Flip Camcorder, they are quite cheap, use a solid state memory, pretty much bullet proof and the sound is great and we play loooooooud.
9. Open to offers as I've found something, well 2 things I really want. Cheers
10. I don't know sounds difficult to create 12 hours of slappity poppity fury dead loud on DB
11. Ebaying this tonight
12.
Christ, what kind of venues are you playing!?!
Everything from small pubs, to outdoor festivals. Your problem generally comes from new venues and new promoters. New promoters in particular that just think all you need is an idea and a myspace page. But often you don't know its bad until your there dealing with an idiot, hence why we bring everything we need to perform. It still beats the time we were nearly shot in America, should really open a tour stories thread.
13.
Awesome! Hahah. I've managed to avoid any quite this bad recently but it's happened before. Best one was a brand new venue (ended up being open for 2 weeks total) that was literally a tunnel the width of 2 guitar cabs and a bass cab. Drummer had to go in front with everything piled up on top of the cabs. We ended up taking up over half the room and being told to turn down so much we couldn't hear anything except drums, anywhere. Vocal mics hat to be taped to the roof and hung down for the singers. Then at the end of the gig they offered to sell us the recording of the show for £50!!!
Ah but if you sound good their you sound good anywhere
14. I turned up one place and the promoter said "A what, A P A? What's that needed for? Don't the singers bring their own?"
15. Half a day left, real bargain here
16. Now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=300473914781
17. I'll get pictures tonight but it's the same as this one only with Overwater Stamped on the front pocket http://www.harvest-guitar.com/Polyamid-Nyl...leder-trim.html
18. Very tempting, but mainly for my guitarist who is always having problems, my Overwaters have neutrik locking jacks, no way they are coming off.
19.
It makes sense to always be prepared though. I'm not criticising, just wondering.
Same here, I'm currently gigging about 10 - 15 times a month in an originals band and the margin for error on the venues part goes through the roof. We've got to places with no xlr's, or mic stands they do oddly have mics though.
20. ONe of my basses is 36inch with 4 in line hs so very very long, if it fits then I'll take this in a heart beat the bass is about 123cm long if you could check. Thanks
21.
Yup! You can't trust venues to have working gear, or knowing how to use it correctly. You CAN trust yourself to provide good fully working equipment. Makes sense to me!
But can you trust yourself to use it properly?
