1. Sadowsky's are of course infused with pixie dust after construction
 2.
haha!! you'd be a rubbish sales man!
That Valenti due to being passed around a fair bit on the board or at least put up for sale has had the price hammered down so it's far more bass than the asking price, it's true I've tried to pick it up myself in the past and at the moment with the g/f in my ear about how ugly she thinks my Overwater's are I may very well be keeping it and gettting the pickups changed to Bulldogs as I originally planned. They are basically 2 prime examples of 2 totally different periods in Valenti's building practices, mine is Warmoth parts the other is USAGC or something which are the same people who allegedly supply Sadowsky.
 3.
that's about 2lbs heavies than my metro .. could possibly live with that! but there is another Valenti on sale now as well! too much choice!!
The other Valenti will be closer to your Sadowsky in shape mine is the more traditional chunky fender design. Also the red one is in better condition than mine, mainly as it just seems to get passed around For the money his is the better buy and just to be clear I won't be price matching I'm not Tesco's
 4.
wow .. oh, how I would love another bass! I have a Sadowsky MV4 and I would never just want another bass that sounded and performed the same, so the question would be, is there much difference between the 2?
Personally this is the best jazz bass I've tried full stop and that includes over the 2 USA Sadowsky's I've tried, however it is heavier than the USA Sadowsky's it's pretty much bang on 5kg's
 5. Selling for a friend he has a mint condition M13 and Pedaltrain 2 with Softcase. he's after £280 for the M13 but open to offers and [s]£80[/s] Sold for the PT2 As stated they are in mint condision so you might as well look at stock pics
 6. Testing the water I've had this bass for quite a while and I'm the original owner, it's in good condition with a bit of buckle rash on the back. Basically as beautiful and great to play as it is, I'm just not a jazz bass guy, I'm not really a traditional bass guy at all. I just want to set my self up with 4 Overwaters and my Rickenbacker and be done. Stock Pics Specs: Full Sized Alder Body Maple Neck w/Pau Ferro Fretboard Inca Silver w/matching headstock Satin Finish on Neck White/Black/white pickguard Nordstrand NJ4 single coil pickups Aguilar OBP-1 2 band Preamp Hipshot HB-1 Tuning Keys Gotoh Quick Release Bridge w/Hipshot d-tuner Chrome Hardware Contoured heel for easier access to the upper frets Schaller Straplocks Additionally it is wired with a Vintage Tone Control that works in both active and passive mode (push pull on the tone for active and passive) and a series and parallel switch on the volume knob. So to sumise the controls are Master Vol (Push/Pull Series/Parallel), Blend (Wired in reverse like Sadowsky), Tone (Push/Pull Active/Passive), Stack Bass and Treble boost. It also has a fishman voltage doubler so the preamp is running on 18v from a single battery. Now I'm not desperate to sell, nor will I take a hit on my asking price and I may just replace the pickups (To custom bulldog pickups) to get a different vibe from it altogether. £800 Cheers
 7. I'll probably take the TB Roadrage loop hit me up when you're on chat
 8. Done and its much nicer and vintage than a club bass cheaper too.
 9. I have an M13 I'd trade towards this but I don't have the cash for the rest unless you wanted a lovely shortscale vintage hofner to play in your reitrement and some cash Cheers
 10. Cleaned up the thread and update the ad a bit. Reduced the price to £300, open to offers
 11.
My two are still going strong after about 2 years. They are completely identical to my guitarists Diago. Apart from the logo...
And price
 12. 8ohms is fine, I can run this on my stereo 8x10 at 16 ohms by taking the 8 ohm cabs and running them in series. I can ship, ideally if you can arrange the courier i'll just get it packed to a ridiculous standard It's 20kgs so think 25kgs when packed I'll measure tonight for dimensions but the shipping box will be a lot bigger than the amp Cheers
 13.
couple of nice boards there - though to be honest if i turned up for a gig with a pedal board that glowed in the dark like that i'd have the piss ripped out of me for ever more!! what's sat on the PT mini over to the right, can't quite make it out..
People can laugh all they want I can't hear them over my GT200 and 8x10
 14.
L-R Catalinbread SFT, Catalinbread Super Chili Picoso, Subdecay Super Nova Drive (Old Yellow edition?), Sonic Research ST-200 Turbo Tuner, Line 6 X2 (XDS95) Wireless Receiver. And all powered by a Diago Powerstation. Can't make out the cables, though I think that would probably be one step too far in the board identifying game.
OBBM made patch leads on the PT Mini and yes everything else is right obviously the signal chain is the above but R to L Power supply is actually a Shredfreak one not a diago but I forgive you
 15.
Will a 4ohm cab kill this?
Yes it would
 16.
Is the SFT really all it's cracked up to be? See it appearring on a lot of boards, but I don't know if it's really worth checking one out if it's only going to be driving the front end of the GT200 anyway?
Well I mean having never tried a GT200 Man it's the best freakin pedal for the GT200 ever it should come standard with the amp. I use to use it as a dirty boost but now I have the Chili doing that and the SFT for overdrive, it's still boosting the amp, just a great great pedal. It's the one pedal on that board I couldn't gig without.
 17.
Nice. Gotta love the blue neon board... Tis' the way forwards!
Yeah hot pink with blue leds However the PT Mini when sat infront of my red 8x10 and Matamp GT200
 18. Ok now no getting mega jealous Day Shot (Band board on the right, session board on the left) Getting Darker Shot Night Shot
 19. Had it for years I love it but obviously the song has to call for it, I use it for synth sounds and to fill in between the start and finish of songs.
 20. Happy to post. I'll call it £5 and I'll pay any additional amounts
Although Alex Al used the EBS Octabass on the live version of 'Earth Song' from 'This Is It', the original album version was Guy Pratt with a Boss OC2.
Most of his tones on that concert featured an octaver pedal, but I guess there is very little real bass on MJ's tracks anyway. But having heard that concert stuff I want a Moog synth I personally use the Foxrox Octron 2 because I like the switching options, the tone is superb and the tracking is great. I've also enjoyed the Boss OC-2 and the Dod Octoplus, the Dod is a real sleeper pedals. The Digitech BSW does an amazingly fast tracking octaver if you're after a more digital synthetic sound.
