1. Have to pay an extra tenner for the horn though: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hartke-High-Frequency-Driver-CD34T-Tweeter-Horn-Bass-speaker-project-/290620971644?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Amplifiers_RL&hash=item43aa5c1a7c
2. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/158020-4-10-hartke-bass-drivers/ Also in Ipswich. Same guy? The VX410 cabs are very good for a cheap cab too, that lot for £65 would be a steal.
3. I just use Neutrik jacks and Van Damme cable, quite cheap and pro quality. Either make your own or buy some, as already said a million times on here obbm's are hard to beat in terms of price, quality and service.
4. There was another blue one went for not much more a while ago, not an early Proline with the EMGs though. Also a Fortress the same colour went for around £350 IIRC. Silly money.
5. Holy fudge! Honestly, how can these fantastic basses be any more undervalued? Looking at that listing is actually quite saddening, I'd probably feel differently if I was the winning bidder though...
6. You might want to look at the cheapy ~£15 ones from eBay sellers Papa Ds and CH Guitars. I bought one for a project and was impressed with it, proper chunky black unit that's miles better than other budget offerings. Not a big heavy chunk like a Badass buyt certainly more substantial than your usual cheap bridge.
7. I already have a Fortress and find it quite comfortable. You couldn't make it down to Blackpool (well Cleveleys/Thornton) could you?
8.
... put a bit of old asbestos over them them pour old engine oil over the lot, works a treat
9. Wow, bargainous! Was about to jump all over this but the lower horn is really putting me off, I'll probably regret being such a tart when it sells!
10. I've given a few to a model railway enthusiast who used them for telegraph/pylon wires and stuff like that.
11. The 1212r is around 40lb i think, the head is a LMII so hardly anything. With that rig on it everything is pretty stable.
12. Aye mine never struggled, I just thought the single locking wheel on one side was such a design oversight. It means the weight isn't evenly distributed and one piece of metal takes the brunt of the pressure. I'd much rather have one on the other leg too, especially for the £40 they used to cost. Still, one of the better stands you can get i reckon.
13. Pretty much the same as this: http://www.spider-engineering.co.uk/music/typeproducts.asp?groupID=6196 The Giraffe stands are ok, not bad for small rigs. You can get them to sit level too so they can be used for seperate heads and cabs. If i were putting more weight than my current rig on it then i'd want something with the locking system at both sides though. Oh and what the bl00dy hell is that up there, a 4x10? Get it out, that's massive!
14. Saw this the other day and thought some of you might be interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GIGSKINZ-DG-BG-Bass-Guitar-Bag-/330616241315?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item4cfa437ca3 This eBay seller has two of these left at £30 with £6 delivery, these were around £90 i think so it's a considerable saving. Thought this might be better off in this section but if mods think it's better off in the eBay bit then by all means move it.
15. You'll have to take them all i'm afraid! Pm me your address if you still want them. Free postage though!
16. Very nice! Love the wood combination. I fitted one of these to my Warmoth to keep the battery secure: http://www.dayga.co.uk/Battery_Holders/9_Volt_Battery_Holder Careful where you click as they also sell a lot of PVC erm, clothing! It can be difficult to track those down as "9v battery clip" searches result in the clip connectors and "9v battery holder" searches result in the plastic battery boxes. I may have some knobs if you're interested? Obviously don't look for them on that site i linked to.....
17. +1 on the quality of these. I had a fretted 5er and it was very comfortable to play. I presume this one has the Mighty Mite pickup and the Bartolini 2band eq? If so it's a killer combination and unusual at this price point. Nice chunky bridge and recessed knobs too.
18. I'd have had that for twenty squids, not a bad looking body. Would look ace with a black scratchplate. Would make a nice cheap little project i reckon.
19.
Well not quite, that was the plan originally but worked out a cheaper price with the guy just for the bass. I really have a way of transporting 3 guitars and he's given me an amazing bass at a silly price... without me taking 2 cheap guitars off him too
How much then?
20.
........the most talented performer of this generation, who's music will still be heard in 50 or 100 years
Winehouse?
21.
Lets just say I've just got on a train from paisley...
Good stuff! I reckon after flogging the guitars that T40 might end up owing you £50 - £60. Not bad!
