4.
I think we have seen that one before.
Aye it was flagged up on eBay i think This one? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...amp;hl=musicman Link is dead now as it was a while ago, pretty sure this bass has been here before
 5.
and again to £850..... only £50 more than I sold it to him for, how much will ebay fees be?
Offer him £799!
 6.
i've dropped it to £400, but still no-one, i could go further but then i'm at a loss with anything i want tobuy - catch22!!! TBH though, i have seen and played a few us ones that really were poorer quality than this one!! i guess Skoda syndrome comes into it - built as highly as vw but its the badge that puts people off!!!
Don't expect a sale straight away! I stuck a nice bass on here for £65 the other week and it still took a day or two Leave it a week or two, chances are only a small percentage of BCers will have seen the ad, let lone considered buying it. Stuff takes a while to sell, give it a bump every week and keep an eye on the wanted section and also on trades
 7. Always nice to hear good customer service. Wren and Cuff are also ace, sent me a part from accross the pond free of charge even though i bought the pedal second hand, very dedicated and pleasant bunch of guys
 8. I had a look at that before, nice bass! Maybe a little overpriced, however basschat prices tend to be quite a bit cheaper than the going rate. My Warmoth fretless has been up for sale for months and months, that's a premium wood Jazz with top quality components and a great build with a good case for £370. It'll go, just gotta wait until someone wants it! One thing that irks me is that i initially refused a great trade for a bass which later sold for over £500. Live and learn i guess! Also bear in mind that it's not everyone's idea of a Fender Jazz, the more typical styles are always more popular and tend to go pretty quickly
 9.
Like this?
That's the brand i was thinking of. Notice how the bass is different to the one on the box!
 10. I thought Liberty was a budget range, something to do with Tanglewood? They did Ps and Js, also Tanglewood Rebel style basses IIRC Maybe the bass just hasn't got a good inherent slap sound, some do slap better than others. Be aware that good technique is probably the most important factor in a good slap (or any) sound, irrelevant of the bass
 11.
Always try and have a poo. Seriously, nothing impacts on your performance more than wanting to crimp one out two minutes into Set 1, Song 1.
Good choice of words! +1 though, i always try to fire one out before the gig
 12. Maybe they know about your dislike of Warwick basses?
 13. If the new owner of this decides he/she doesn't want it can i have first dibs on it please? This is exactly what i'm after and a great price too Cheers Steve

Scarified is awesome! Been meaning to learn that one for ages. Kinda puts everyone else's to shame
 15. Bought some books and a DVD, arrived in great condition. Cheers matey!
 16. Yeah i managed to control myself and not buy it so it wasn't me! I have to keep reminding myself that i'm selling a bass or two, not buying!

 18. Looks like an early P Bass Lyte without the later contours. http://media.photobucket.com/image/p%20bas...it21/twins1.jpg

 20. Would be easier and more stable to rout the body to accept the wider neck. Didn't Neepheid put a 6er neck on a smaller body to make an extra wide 5 string bass? There was a build diary on it somewhere, search Zebrano wide boy. As for not being able to buy a 5er neck on the cheap, i'm sure waynepunkdude paid a few quid for an entire 5 string bass! Although it was fugly...
 21. Have you tried putting one pedal in front of another? I switched in the OD on my MXR M80 with my Mastotron still on and it sounded immense! Although you said no Fuzzes, one of my favourite pedals is my Danelectro Black Liqourice. If the octave switch was a footswitch and it didn't hum so much it'd be perfect, it's the heaviest sound i've had and the octave down is great on the A string and above. £12 posted from eBay too
