Horn pointing up for me. I tried it in every configuration and this sounded best to my ears. Prefer this to having it in the "correct" position on a stand as i like my cabs to be on the stage floor (it lost low end and perceivable volume on the stand) Jorg should put the Schroeder badge the right way up!

I've got the non-backrest version, it's very stable (the best stand i've had by far). I have used the other type and that was good too, but there's no need for the rest. The clamp mechanism broke on mine but it still holds my bass tight (one arm stays shut) It's also the only stand i've had that held my dear departed RD Artist so will work with TBirds and pointy basses

Anyone else tempted to stick a bid of £1199 on it? Preferably someone who has that in the bank in case he's lowered the reserve....

I think this pedal needs a tuner with a mute switch, i could pretty much do away with my pedalboard then!

+1 on the Corvette. Nice deep neck (mine's an 02 i think) which has never given me troubles. There's an esp. nice ltd edition on here at the moment too, buy that so i stop looking at it!

Ouch! Our singer had a similar thing happen with a Planet Waves strap. It's a big, thick leather strap with straplocks for me every time
