1.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you see "custom" anywhere on an eBay listing just don't bother.
<<<<< Wrong!
2. What an idiot! "I dragged it behind my car, then i set it on fire for a while" Good goin douche!
3. Thanks for the compliments, i like it too . Some nice basses for sale but i'm not sure how many would be up for trading esp. due to the current economic climate. I think that guy in the link wants a P, is a gorgeous Warwick though. Might give him a shout as this Warmoth sounds more P ish than a usual J-type due to the pickup
4. Just to add, no 6ers (or above) please! Might be persuaded by a 5er though Worked this out from the Warmoth site and it comes to $1163 for the parts including shipping (i halved the price of the case because of the missing catch) This ends up as £832 for the new parts so i guess a trade for a bass of similar new value (or more )?
5. I've got beer at home. I've also got a Corvette. I want this one!!! Think i'm just gonna sulk like a petulant child for the rest of the night/week/month
6. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=180335169258 I am probably the most gutted person in the UK right now. My internet connection decided to suddenly slow down as i was placing a bid......... 5 secs too late.... Ah well, didn't need it anyway, probably not as good as i expected, needed the money for other stuff, more to life than buying basses. Gorgeous ones. For less than £300..... Bugger!
7. Horn pointing up for me. I tried it in every configuration and this sounded best to my ears. Prefer this to having it in the "correct" position on a stand as i like my cabs to be on the stage floor (it lost low end and perceivable volume on the stand) Jorg should put the Schroeder badge the right way up!
8. May be interested in the cartridge, just waiting for my missus to confirm her printer model number when she gets in from work
9. I've got the non-backrest version, it's very stable (the best stand i've had by far). I have used the other type and that was good too, but there's no need for the rest. The clamp mechanism broke on mine but it still holds my bass tight (one arm stays shut) It's also the only stand i've had that held my dear departed RD Artist so will work with TBirds and pointy basses
10. Anyone else tempted to stick a bid of £1199 on it? Preferably someone who has that in the bank in case he's lowered the reserve....
11. I think this pedal needs a tuner with a mute switch, i could pretty much do away with my pedalboard then!
12. +1 on the Corvette. Nice deep neck (mine's an 02 i think) which has never given me troubles. There's an esp. nice ltd edition on here at the moment too, buy that so i stop looking at it!
13. Ouch! Our singer had a similar thing happen with a Planet Waves strap. It's a big, thick leather strap with straplocks for me every time
14. Agreed, i paid under that for a USA Big Muff including delivery!
15. That was quick! Here's a linky to the original thread with pics and clips on it: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...9&hl=bogdan And you're the fourth owner, this pedal gets about a bit! Quality unit though, nice and neat and loads of tasty fuzzy drive
16. PXed some pedals, top guy to deal with!
17. Easy transaction, thanks bud!
18. Bought his Stereo Electric Mistress after many months of looking, thanks!
19. Sold me an much loved/used Aphex pedal for a bargain price, definitely a keeper (the pedal i mean). Thanks again!
20. Sold him my Bogdan Helter Skelter, again top blokeness!
21. Bought a Small Stone and all is well, although i'm selling it cos i've got an Electric Mistress! It was lovely though!
22. Got a nice USB audio interface for a very good price, a true gent too!
23. Can't see a stacked pot so i assume this is passive. Massive chunk of bass for the money btw, Corvettes are always bargains but this is rock bottom price esp. considering it's the Bubinga bodied version. Don't expect this to be around long!
