  1. Been testing the WS-90 over the last couple of evenings, works a treat thanks guys!
  2. These are still available for some reason: Bit of a trek for you mind.
  3. Takes me back to when my daughter was a baby and I had to change her nappies.
  4. Good for metal?
  5. Gigged a LMII with a TRV151 and later a pair of Club 121 cabs for years, the Club cabs were especially good. No complaints here, embrace the yellow.

    Flatter.

Might not even be workable if you don't have enough spare height on your bridge saddles and pickups which would have to be adjusted every time, probably more effore to fit than just swapping necks. Plus it negates the excuse to buy a completely new bass which is against forum rules.
  7. The design aesthetic reminds me when we first did graphic design at high school (Corel Draw back then), some kids had never had the freedom of so many fonts, colours and clipart before so just used all of them together out of sheer excitement.
  8. An immediate advantage it has over the cheapo units is USB Type-C charging rather then Micro USB so that's a good start.
  9. Lekato WS-90 just turned up, 7 days delivery direct from China aint too bad. Will see how I get on later, just got my new PJB C8 Lite delivered yesterday so can make some noise!
  10. A pal of mine has one of these, gigs it over his V7. It's top banana, superb quality.
  11. @ardi100 you might find one of the little laptop stands (Ikea Brada etc) useful if you have a micro/lightweight head and want to use that Eden as a wedge monitor.
  12. I used an analogworkshop piezo preamp in one of my piezo equipped basses, it's just 40mm x 26mm x 10mm so should fit in anything.
  13. I think (not 100% and can't see from the photos) that it's the version of the D210 that has the tilt back function which is a fair few kg lighter than the older model. Looks like "D210MBX" to my old eyes. Proper cab for budget money (as long as it's fully working obvs!) and not crazy heavy either.
  14. There's an old Eden 2x10 I was watching on eBay for £150, seller sent an offer for £139. Even with postage it's a good deal.
  15. TBF most of the rehearsal room cabs I use these days have at least half the drivers blown so it should be ok
  16. Frequently see 6x10 and 8x10 cabs going for low money, hard things to sell really with demand being next to zero.
  17. There'll be none left from that seller now, Peter's bought 'em all!
  18. Have you ever used one of those ALPS bridges at all? Seen them floating around on AliExpress and they look ideal for converting a bass which doesn't have enough room behind the bridge to accomodate regular tuners, ie most basses!
  19. Unfortunately I'm in the position where I need to buy a cab to use at rehearsal as the rooms we usually use now can't be relied upon to provide workable (or even fully working) amps/cabs, as I'm all IEM live it's purely for that purpose. I already have a small TC head with an EA CXL-110 cab (with a Basslite driver) so was thinking of just adding another 1x10 to this for a mini stack and have spotted the Ashdown RM-110 for around £200 new, basically the same as the old OR-110 but with a bit of a naff visual design overhaul. Has anybody used these with a 200w-250w head, if so do they struggle with a drummer and what is definition and clarity like? Also how do they perform compared to the Elf 110, Warwick Gnome etc? Don't really want anything big or heavy really as it's just for a rehearsal extension cab, we only rehearse when running through new songs and it will be stored away for the vast majority of the time.
  20. Thanks for including the frequency centres of the eq, the Markbass preamps always seem to sound better than the Bart MkI which has some odd choices RE frequency points. Weird that the C series is outspecced in this regard (for me anyway) compared to the more expensive models.
  21. I keep looking at the 5 string jazz they do in the same colour, if it had a rear access panel and a battery box I'd be in danger.
  22. First port of call would be those Harley Benton Mustang clones I would think. I just like the colours really.
  23. Weird, I had a Westfield P copy from the same era with the slimmed down F style headstock (earlier ones were a direct copy), was a perfeclty serviceable bass. Nice bargain project for someone.
  24. Ordered the WS-90 from Lekato directly for £40, they seem to have coupons on everything. Was tempted by the UHF one at £30 but it says may not work with active basses which is a shame.
  25. Really cool design, probably very useful for converting a headed bass too as the tuners don't stick out a mile.
