  1. Spotted this the other day, stick a shirt on pal!
  2. Would be a bushing for 3/8" tuners wouldn't it? They usually have a hole size of around 14mm and a post size of 11-12mm. Are they press fit?
  3. Leo nicked the design off Paul Bigsby as well, the HB guys could just say they were doing a close approximation of a Bigsby headstock and it unintentionally turned out looking exactly like a Fender one.
  4. I have just bought a bass, I do not need another one. https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_mv_5jb_burgundy_mist.htm
  5. So would an E serial be Young Chang and an S serial always be Samick then?
  6. Bought an East UniPre from Gaf, pleasure to deal with.
  7. It looked incredible with the Dimarzio chrome covered pickups in here:
  8. Looks much better now, nice little home setup.
  9. They had some made in the Cortek factory under the Lite Ash series, the E serial number would indicate a Samick (I think) who made some Squiers.
  10. Valeton Dapper Bass for £80 with the same code as well: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315072941931?
  11. Think they have a few, max purchases per buyer is 4 when I put a bigger number in though.
  12. Spotted this, using the voucher code HOTDEAL20 it goes from an already cheap £199 to an even cheaper £160 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314736880431? They're £250 everywhere else so seems like a bargain.
  13. Yeah but if he drops it and something starts rattling around inside he can just shove some foam in and hand it back, whistling as he walks off.
  14. Hardware for Fender style basses, had these lying around after changing my mind about a project years ago and forgetting about them. All will need a bit of a polish but are fully working. 4 tuners with screws and ferrules, never been used but the gold has tarnished a little over time. String tree with screw, never been used. Neck plate from my old Hohner/Cort, used with screws. Generic neck plate, used with screws. Price includes postage.
  15. Good price for a capable setup, I'd jump on it. White pickguards look cheap on anything other than pale coloured basses IMO, great on seafoam green, sonic blue, white etc. Stick a tort or black guard on it.
  16. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1704596547036073/ Bargain, grab it!

  17. Just spotted this on FB: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1124406328763981/? Meant to be surprisingly good budget cabs IIRC
  18. There's an Eden EX112 in the classifieds: I use my BH250 with a little EA CXL110 with a Basslite driver installed, goes more than loud enough for accompaniment so any 1x10, 1x12 or 2x8 should be sufficient. A lot of people paired them with the TC BH208: https://www.thomann.de/gb/tc_electronic_bc208_bass_cab.htm?
  19. Cool i'll take it then! That's my bid on the eBay listing btw so no need ot feel guilty, want me to cancel it?
  20. Given the limited time clearance price of the old Rockbass factory Sadowskys it would probably be a good idea to check one of those out first.
  21. Just checking does this come with all the relevant East knobs?
  22. That's one of their better colours IMO, regret not grabbing a burgundy mist V7 when Andertons were selling the old Gen2 stock off on the cheap. They also had the lake placid blue on sale as well.
  23. FRFR cab and the Quad Cortex you already own should cover that all that ground.
  24. It doesn't look like the battery clip is detachable which is a bit of an oversight for those with a separate battery compartment. A 2 pin connector might be your best option: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265942800623?
  25. I'd be spending that money on a soldering iron, the S99 on AliExpress is meant to be a very good and inexpensive USB Type C iron, also get some decent solder, a cleaning tin with wire wool in it and one of the little stands, all cheap eBay/AE stuff. Realistically three good quality pots will set you back £10-£12, practice soldering/desoldering on your old pots. This.
