1.
Is that based in Pickle Pie??
Its an EH big muff clone, you can build triangle/rams head versions with an extra tone select switch as well, and for an extra £8 you get parts to 'Pickle' your large beaver

    BYOC website

    I got mine from Here

  2.
Yup :)

Good good  (I'd go as far to say it sounds BETTER with the Eminences...) Sorry I never saw ya last time you were in London, hopefully next time!
yeh dude i was pretty busy when i was last down, i'll be down again in a few weeks cause my band has a gig in camden on the 17th may ;)

  3. a lil update to my board

    TU2 - cream pie - chorus - punch factory - EQ - BDDI

I've got an ashdown J-lo hyperdrive coming in and the dha footswitch will be coming off the board, if the j-lo doesnt pan out i'll be getting another hyperpak and maybe a delay or something weird to finish it of and some george L's cables

  4. I traded owen my sansamp PBDDI for his bog standard BDDI, very good transaction posted when he said he would and all arrived on time as & when we arranged. Hope you get more out of the PBDDI than me mate :)

    cheers

    Rob

  5.
I have a standard BDDI. It is used but not abused. A bit worn on the front edge where your foot would brush, I can send pics. PM me an email address.

    Let's do this thing!
PM'd ;)
dang too slow
you'll be next in line if things dont go through with owen :)

  6. i just bought this off dangerboy a few weeks ago and as good as it is 3 channels is too much for me so idealy i'd be after a trade for a bog standard sansamp BDDI otherwise I'd be after £110 for it.

its in good condition with a little bit of paint missing on the left edge of the pedal nothing to worry about though. Here's a quick pic from my board but I'll get better ones up tomorow

I'm in no great rush to sell and if worst comes to worst I'll keep it.

    Cheers Jon :)

  8.
excellent, cheers id never heard of them!

looks like they are up for modding my odb-3 to remove the hiss and install a blue led, woop
I've got a boss DS-1 kicking around here somewhere, I emailed to see what they could do to that to make it more bass friendly I'll let ya know when I know :)

  9.
That Rockbass is great, never been tempted by one until now, but they need to sort out that jack socket and put an input on the edge instead of that fugly Strat one. Very nice precision too, but why did you get rid of the tort scratchplate?!?!?!? Sacrilege! :)
Aye i never liked the jack socket on it, as much as i like the tort plate i'm a sucker for the sunburst/black combo ever since i had it on my first jazz

  10.
do NOT get an mxr blue box for bass
why not :)

i had a play with a guitarist friend of mines on my bass and to be honest (I know its 2 octaves down+fuzz) you could get some really glitchy weird fuzzy noises out of it which i liked and some usable ones IMO on the G and possibly the D strings IIRC. I wouldnt rush out and buy one but it was fun to have a mess about with

  11. I was having a look through my photobucket account and noticed that I've had me a few basses over the years so in no particular order here they are including my current main squeeze.

First off I had an epiphone EB-0 in cherry red nice easy wee bass to play, then I moved on to an Epi Tbird as the rock god inside awoke  (or at least i thought it did :) ) I dont have any pics of these so next up was my MIM fender Jazz which I loved with a passion best jazz i've played IMO sold it on BW to 2x18 think he still has it. Really wish I could've kept it but hey ho

Next up was a Warwick rockbass streamer bought as a stop gap between basses it was pretty good for the ££

then onto my Maverick B1 cracking bass and again I thought it was a keeper untill gas struck, I also picked up another Epi Tbird at this time.

Both of them went to try to chase the dream of owning a Gibson RD artist but band commitments put paid to that so I had to get a bass pronto and got me this mid 80's MIJ precison bass(you've prob all seen it before) I've upgraded the pup to a wizard thumper and had a villex booster in it (which is now gone cause as good as it was i never used it) and now only has a volume control again cause i never used the tone.

    as I received it

and as it is now (thanks to the nice weather today ;))
