I used a Purist Bass with my old marshall set up and it soundin the biz, nice valve warmth to mild overdrive, a BIG thhumbs up from me

I was in the edinburgh branch yesterday and it was quite busy, had a good selection of basses plenty fenders a few yamaha's a good selection of spectors and schecters and a few warwicks, amp wise it was pretty much all ampeg ashdown and crate, but they did have a nice peavey tour450 head and bw115 cab that i got to try out. staff were friendly and pretty helpfull considering what the kirckcaldy branch are like

Well its been a while since i posted on this part of the forum so here's my pair, a Maverick B1 and my recently aquired epiphone thunderbird (cheers Mickeyboro) not quite in the same league as some of the basses posted here recently but hey i like em . the T-bird is gettin a black scratchplate in the next few weeks just to be different

I regret selling my old epiphone thunderbird, I loved the sound but it didnt fit musically with my band at the time and my MIM fender jazz in sunburst, black scratchplate and badass II bridge it was the best fender i have ever played and the first bass i had modded in anyway to make it more mine.
