1. Would you be able to box it up, if I arrange a courier? Thanks.
2. Could be interested. Where in North London are you? Failing that what would be the cost to post (I'll take the risk of it arriving in more than one piece!) Cheers, TnB
3. These were the days - before the 2nd offspring!
4. From a fellow Stage II owner I can confirm this bass in a league above any other Warwicks, or any other bass I own or have owned, including a Warwick Jazzman, Musicman stingray, status basses, and others. The quality of sound is so good I've been known to record without a pre-amp. The bass is solid as a rock, never goes out of tune, and always looks good as the wood is so hard that it doesn't pick up dinks and scratches. Well worth the money if you can afford it - even if you have to sell off the rest of your bass collection! Best of luck with the sale Markus!
5. Including the bass?
6. I take it that it's pickup only?
7. Great amp thanks. Kept me informed and it was well packaged.
8. Great service. Thanks!
9. Just to say thanks to Flanker for a couple of great cabs ( and a go on some great basses and gear!) I can heartily recommend. T_n_B
10. How much do you want to post it? I'd take responsibility for it in transit, if you can pack it well for me. Thanks TnB
11.
Series 6 GP7 may well be correct, Merton. Not sure of their whole naming scheme. Trace_n_Bass... on the back where it says serial number, it says AH300.
OK. Sorry for doubting you.
12. Are you sure this is an AH300 Series 6? The 300W version was a 3U size with a UV light, and a 12-band EQ. The AH 200 was mostly supplied with a 12-band EQ as well, although I did own one with a 7-band front end. It's much more likely that this is either the AH100 or AH130. Any chance of a photo of the back with the serial number etc?
13.
Still for sale...
If you're prepared to go a bit lower on price, I would be interested, and can collect this week.
14.
serial number is T0453/381/101
Made in the first quarter of 2001 then. In my opinion better than the modern stuff, particularly the power section which is less noisy and more reliable than the modern Trace gear. The compressor works better as well.
15.
Didn't know there was a 4x8...interesting. Good to hear you enjoyed the newer stuff. I'm enjoying my new series 1048H.
The 4x8 (4808) was originally manufactured as the extension cab to the 4808 V-type 4x8 combo in their 1996 - 1999 range. The July 1996 lists the price of these as £425, so get yourselves a bargain folks (and save on a lifetimes chiropractor fees!) :-)
16.
Best to go with the panel and say 4 ohms then.
Best not to use this cab with another one then. If you connect this and an 8 Ohm cab you'll have a combined 2.67 Ohms! Or with another 4 ohm cab it'll be 2 Ohms! The Trace heads don't like anything below 4 Ohms as it'll overheat the power section, eventually leading to failure. Just letting people know in case they're planning on it! Only ever use a 4 Ohm cab with another if the head can take it, or you're in series (almost all bass cabs are wired parallel!)
17. Dammit - I play bass right handed, but guitar left
18. How about a 4U rack case that is fully sound, but is a bit scratched, and a bit of cash your way?
19. Careful of all those bumps - they leave bruises!
20. If you google the number you get: Fax: 01516370974 Web: www.woodstreetstudios.co.uk Email: [email protected] The website has actually now changed the fax number to a mobile number, but if you ever needed to find him
