So would you simply retire to your bedroom?
Yes just not as much, perhaps once a month, don't see the difference to playing amateur sport tbh.

Fede bought my Fender Jazz, quick payment, great communication. All I had to do was bubble wrap the thing and wait for a courier to arrive....dead easy! Many thanks Fede.....
Re Mustang Sally: we play it mabye every 2nd gig but only if it`s a few tasty girls doing the backing vocals on it. No girls, no Mustang. Shallow and a bit sexist but honest. The girls love it and so do we.
Haha and us. We have it in the locker just in case but never on the prepped set list. Variety is the key, we sometimes play Peaches by Presidents of the USA to blank looks and other times everyone's rocking??
Being definately fickle I've sold a number of keepers, even the 25th wedding anniversary Ricky keeps getting looked at as a possible funds raiser. I've managed to hold on to my first bass of this era of playing for nearly 10 years, but apart from that stuff's been moved on on a regular basis!!
Hmm interesting exchange of words on Monday, when I was busy answering pm's about my Jazz sale. Mrs F61 "what you doing now?" Me "I'm selling one of my basses" Mrs F61 "why you selling another one?" Me "Cause I've got a new one incoming" Mrs F61 "I hope your NOT selling that Rick thingy that you got on our 25th anniversary" Me "ahem no" Sounds like the Ricky has become a keeper all of a sudden
That looks like a pic of a standard long scale to me. Probably no short-scale pics available yet.
That's what I though tbh when I found it first thing this morning -

Anyone seen any details on this apart from the press releases. They seem to be about £800, so just wondered how they differ from Standard T-birds apart from 3.5ins neck length.
Someone buy it and save my marriage.... seriously cheap!
Got one coming in so need to balance the books to save mine tbh
No, ridiculously cheap . Don't do it (especially whenI'm skint ) Karl.
Just trying to recoup what I paid, plus my petrol to collect tbh, I'm rubbish at trading basses, I don't lose out but rarely gain.
Has MM20 seen this..? Like the grain through the finish..very nice looking bass.
Thanks it looks better in the flesh, just finalising my move away from Trace Elliot and Fender.

Beautiful US Jazz, great condition and a great player, but my move away from Fender and some killer GAS attacks prompt this unexpected rush of blood to the head. Gigged a few times by me, I've owned for 20 months. Comes with original HSC and case candy. No major marks or dings, the S1 switching is a bit of a Marmite issue, but I used it a lot when I was gigging!! I'll post more pics if required, these are the orginals from when I bought this beauty, not changed from when I bought, maybe a couple of scuffs to the case where I've transported to gigs. The colour is a warm orange but the grain shows through nicely. A lovely bass and a reluctant sale.......but Mr Gibson is calling again....! Any questions, please ask away.

Not too bad down here, if you have a rep for being decent and reliable it's ok. We do travel mind you, up to an hour and 1/4 so we do clock upi the miles. We'll do about 40 gigs this year, which is pretty much the same as last and the fees are holding up. But there are certainly less people out and about watching that's for sure.
My personal favourite is non stop playing. We have always segwayed 4-6 tracks at a time but i always say if the crowds up for it and you can cope why stop and loose momentum?
Me too but I'm outvoted 2:1 on this point......the wimps.

Longest in old band was 3 and a half hours, no break!!! Current band 1 x 1hr followed by 1x 1hr 15mins plus encores, my logic is I do this for fun therefore want to play as longs as is possible
I look at it regularly - seen a number of what seem to be real bargains - never actually bought anything (have you seen the Sandberg basic 5 in Neasden, NW London, for about £550)..??
No I've seen something I've been after for a while and contacted the seller, mind you heard nothing so far
I`d recommend Hot Covers for this type of product. Great product, and swift turnaround - mine turned up 4 days after prdering, in the midst of all the snow last December. Hot Covers are in Scotland, but still managed to get my item to me in 4 days. i was impressed.
+1, I rec'd excellent service from Hot Covers.
