2.
Folks, One Drop is a top chap, and I can vouch for him 101%. Good luck with the sale, OD!
You trying to wind Clarky up ?
 3.
Yeah. I always find inflatable Santas throw my timing...
Especially when cunningly disguised as a snowman
 4.
I have a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0-12T Combo which I am very happy with. I now want to add an extra cabinet, and the obvious choice is the Genz Benz STL 12T 300w cab, but I would like to know whether the Genz Benz STL 210T 400w cab would be a better choice. Which set-up would sound better, and which would be the loudest?
I added the 210T and the sound is awesome, really good blend between the 12in and 2 x 10in speakers. Plus your driving at the full 600w on the Shuttle 6, more than giggable for 90% of venues and requirements imo. Plus you have the combo for smaller venues, total flexability.
 5.
MMmMMMM fancy a deal on my jazz i listed y/day !
No thanks, I'm after cash for my next purchase.
 6.
Much as I'd love a guitarist, our current thinking is a female singer .
If she's like any of your bass stands, I'm learning guitar and moving up north!
 7. Damn! lost out on the bass I was after bump
 8.
Having come up with the usual "I am so happy" blah blah on my last porn thread I am not even going to suggest these are all 'keepers' (well the Pino definitely is), here is my latest trio. 2005 Fender CS Pino Palladino, 1994/5 Fender American Vintage '62 Precision Reissue (with added J pickup), and Fender CIJ '62 Jazz Reissue fretless. Bass Doc is making me an ebony unlined neck for the latter.
What about the DB etc??
 9.
PM'd
And replied and provisionally sold
 10. Darren bought my Boss LS-2, great transaction and really easy to deal with. Highly recommended to trade with and he's from Swindon to boot
 11. For sale 2 x effects pedals Boss Overdrive, loads of tones, from subtle to massive overdrive, no box or manual but will be well wrapped. Used condition but perfect working order. £35 shipped Boss LS-2 sold £40
 12. For sale my old workhorse, excellent condition no major dings or marks, built on the 5th Mar 1996, according to the serial number. Plays superbly well, neck nice and straight. Selling as I have my eye on something else and need the funds. Comes with a Fender style Tweed case that's in reasonable but used condition. No major issues, slight buzzing when sat close to amp but a beauty to play life with all the flexability that the 3 band eq gives you. Will be sorry to see this go but needs must, would prefer collection but will ship if needs be at buyers expense. Any questions please ask away, but absolutely no trades unless we're talking Gibson T-Bird!
 13.
Best thing to do if you don't like people flipping stuff on BC for profit is to leave the price in your sold thread, and just mark the title as sold. That way it is easy to gauge the going rate on BC for particular items.
Good point! I always like to double wheck what I'm buying /selling against stuff that has sold on here
 14.
Just a short note to introduce myself to this site. I'm a midish 40 something bassist and p/t vocalist in a covers band (Uncle Jack) based out of the South of England. My enthusiasm and organisational skills far out weigh any musical talent that I may have. I suscribe to the theory that all mistakes and playing limitations can be overcome by volume and "front". Anyway my bass of choice is a MM Stingray with a Ricky 4003 and Fender P Bass as backups. My amp is a 500w Trace Elliot head put through Trace 4 x 10 and 1x 15 cabs, far too big for most venues (see point above), must be compensating for something or another. Don't use a lot of online sites although I do go on activebass on a regular basis for the banter. Anyway that's me, do a boring day job to sustain my hobby which is out gigging (and get paid to boot). My strength is that I really do know my limitations!!!
Bit dull, but there you are! Mind you, the BC For Sale forum has had an effect, I don't use any of the above gear any more, in fact don't own the TE stuff at all!!
 15.
I want to hang them on my dining room/office wall, nice bit of artwork and saves some floorspace too. I have seen these and I'm sure these are used in guitar shops...Hercules one that as you lower the bss into the holder it self locks....any other ideas welcome http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hercules-GSP39WB-Gui...=item3a5e1f3c79
I use 5 of them in mu music room, no issues, I just use bigger screws than are provided with it. I was scared sh*tless of using them, but loads of people on here have had them for a while with no issues.
 16.
Best tip? If it's a bass, bass amp/effects or bass parts, sell them here. Jon.
RUBBISH, NOTHING EVER SELLS ON HERE IT'S A WASTE OF TIM!!!!!
 17.
TIM TIMMENY. TIM TIMMENY, TIM TIM TEREEEE
Very funny!
 18.
Not entirely true. I was in Lancaster the other day for a meeting and popped into Promenade Music, where I tried a lovely Marleaux bass, which I was sorely tempted by. I took a massive amount of will power to pull myself away, especially as I was offered £300 off the ticket price even on the 'Take it Away' 0% interest scheme! Still prevaricating about it now...
procrastinating? not sure on spelling
 19. I bought a bass and an amp on Take it Away from Mark at Bass Direct. Peice of preverbial p*ss, no issues at all, would recommend as a way to bring forward a purchase. Obvioulsy it does have all the normal pitfalls of a credit agreement.
 20.
i totally dig this vid.. for these reasons...i think ive covered everything.. 4. I totally fancy her. 5. I know I haven't
 21.
I am doing a show next month; Jesus Christ Superstar, and got the charts through on the weekend. Spent some time with them yesterday and, 'kin 'ell, they're hard to read cold. I got there in the end but, flamin' Nora. I didn't know he had it in him!!
Perhaps you could try tabs???
 22. No bad in terms of quantity, in fact my best year (mind you new band), prob in excess of 45 gigs. Some venues are really struggling, and we're finding we're having to play later, quite often starting at 10pm. But we've got 30 odd sorted for 2011, so with rpivate work we'll be there or there abouts. Got two big ourdoor ones lined up so can't complain, however we are expecting some cancellations if trade doesn't pick up. Over all I'd say a 7 out of 10 year!!
 23.
My usual, decorative stands don't come free. They are also moody, prone to changing their minds at the last minute and require constant attention. That's got sod all to do with this glorious Jazz I'm selling, but thought it might cheer you until the next time I can get all the elements together at one time
Marvellous and a Friday morning bump for a lovely Jazz!
