Sounds to me the gig is more important to them than gigging as a whole band, not a great way to do business imo

However I have 4 of [url="http://www.herculesstands.com/guitars/GSP39WB.html"]these[/url] and I have to say they're very good. About £12 each or something, I would suggest this is not something to scrimp on.

Had the Ah500-12 normally ran at 8ohm and never got the dial past 5, at 4 ohm never got the volume past 3. Very loud and very awesome.

If we assume the amp part of you combo has a rating of 4ohm, and that two x 8ohm cabs = 4ohm, then that cab part of your combo counts towards the overall rating, so yes only one 8ohm extension cab.
