It currently has multicoloured LEDs in it but I can take them out if you wish you can control them via a remote putting it to any colour you want or changing all the time to the speed you want. 8 Ohm From Eden Crossover: 3.5kHz @ 18dB 1000W RMS power handling Frequency response: 36Hz - 14kHz ±2dB Sensitivity: 104dB SPL @ 1W1M 23"W x 25"H x 18-1/2"D 95 lb. 11. For Sale a great little Ampeg Micro CL. I've just been using it a home for practice etc but im changing things around and I just don't need it. It does look pretty cool being a mini fridge and sounds good with a little bit of vintage tone. Never been gigged or driven hard looks brand new. Copied from Ampeg Let's face it. You are the type who would happily crank up a full Ampeg SVT stack in your living room. Heck, who needs neighbors anyway? And noise violations are really just a badge of honor, right? For the rest of us, there is the Ampeg Micro-CL Stack, delivering 100 watts of pure Ampeg tone. It's perfect for those just getting into Ampeg or for the seasoned bassist looking to practice in far flung locations like the master bathroom. Includes tough 2 x 10" cab Stereo input / headphone out for silent practice Effects loop and direct out
12. For sale a great 1974 Jazz Bass in sunburst with maple neck. Lots of character and mojo about it and worn in naturally. I got it off another basschat member so I will use some of there info. The pickups are stamped 74 a previous owner had them rewound by Wizard. It's had the tone pot replaced but the original pot is included. Original bridge cover included but screws are not. One original screw remains for the neck pickup cover The neck volume pot has been resoldered (not very well) obscuring the ident but you can tell its the identical same age pot. Cts pots stamped 7405 Bass plays great with low action and incredible output. Not really happy about shipping but its at your risk etc. Can meet up I am down in the Dorset area. The trades I might interested in is a Warwick Streamer Stage 1 5 string broadneck or try me with whatever you have. 13. It's a real odd situation like many have said Warwick's used to be more available. I remember seeing my first one in a music shop back when i was a kid and loving it right away. I've since been able to get two pretty rare and beautiful streamers but I did wonder why they disappeared. Not seen a Warwick in years however Spector's I have bass direct always seem to have a few. I used to have a very early Spector Euro 5 string that thing was so heavy and wasn't really that great for me. I bought it brand new from the Bass Center in Wapping. At the time I really wanted a Warwick but you I couldn't find them back then either.
14. Completely agree it's becoming massively common thing. The devaluation in music education is really bad. So many courses and institutions being set up with absolutely no real interest in excellence it's just money. Coming from an ex lecturer you wouldnt believe how bad it is. I would never give anyone advice to do a degree/Btec in music or anything from a school/institute less than nation/international standard. It's just wasted time and money otherwise.
15. Bump for a good seller. I've seen this bass and it's better in person. Good luck with the sale
16. Thanks to everyone's efforts. I really enjoyed it, some really great moments and good atmosphere.
17. I have a bass that was owned by Andrew Levy (Brand New Heavies) there is footage of it on Top of the Pops, in music videos probably more stuff I haven't found. It came with a bunch of provenance i.e. DAT taps of rehearsals, set lists, photos, the flight case really shows its been all over the world with stickers and flight numbers etc. Its a lovely bass and I didn't pay over the odds for it. I think its nice to have an instrument with history that really has been there and done it. In regards to value? Provenance can add huge value but not always monetary.
18. Yes getting hold of one or trying one out. Thanks for the info on the tks. It's clear that 12 inch speakers are a recent improvement although in 25 years I've never played a cab with them. I'm not a big gear guy I really don't like music shops so tend to be fairly ignorant of new advances. But lightweight is one thing I really need to do.
19. Yeah TKS look good trying one might be a problem.
20. It's an idea but they are not easy to come by anymore and I suspect they would be pretty expensive
21. I know this is hard question to answer but any ideas would give me a good start. I have an Eden 410XST and I really like the sound but the weight is really excessive and its not going to work much longer. I'm really open to any ideas to replace but keep the same kind of sound I.e. Great low B handling punch and thick low end and off course loud. I'm using a Genzler Magellan 800 currently. Cheers
22. I have the Genzler. It really is stunning little thing I can't rate it enough. Gotta be my favourite amp I've ever had and I've had a fair few over the years.
