    Hi all, Im looking to get in a few more private students to hope abate my champagne lifestyle and pay for my new double bass... Ive been a freelance and touring bassist for years and a very experienced bass tutor. Im currently bass tutor at BIMM and Access to Music, and teach workshops for Bristol Music Service as well as private lessons.     It's a good question. I always struggle more with neck profile and different string heights and tensions more than Eb or D necks. I have basses with both types and I don't struggle with it as I play them both regularly. If I don't use one for a bit it takes me 10mins or so to get back on it. If I have a preference, It would be a D stop of only because I've played more basses with a D neck..

    I'm selling my ATM 350 clip on mic for £160... That's an excellent and cost effective condenser mic that works great. I'm only selling this to help pay for a DPA mic.

    Outstanding clip on mic, works great for double bass. A much cheaper alternative to the DPA 4099. In great condition, was hardly used as my Schertler pickup has been enough.     QSC K10 powered speaker. Amazing as a bass amp, especially great with double basses. Kicks out 1000 watts and has a great sound. Gigged only a handful of times and is in good condition. Cost me £650 about 5 months ago. £400
