TC Electronic BC210 cab. Gigged extensively but now surplus to requirement. For condition see photos - cosmetic nicks and scratches in the tolex but it's all just cosmetic. The cab works perfectly. Great sounding, loud 210. Link to TC Electronic site - https://www.tcelectronic.com/Categories/Tcelectronic/Bass/Cabinets/BC210/p/HE016 Any questions, get in touch. Collection from Bristol - I'd rather not ship this! Thanks.

Hello, So I'm selling an Ampeg PF-350. I have owned this for around a year, and have gigged it lightly in that time. Recently it's just been sat at home and used for low volume practise. There are a few things that need some attention with the amp, hence the low price: As you can see from the photos this is a little...er... road worn. There are a few screws missing from the lid - the lid is still held securely, and you can probably find replacements for these easily, although one or two were cross threaded and had to be removed so I'm not sure how easy it would be to just screw new ones right in. There are also some scratches and general wear and tear. The functionality of the amp in unaffected - no damage to any of the pots / switches and it all works as it should. The main reason I stopped using this is rattle. I originally had this mounted to the flip top 210 cab, but I found that the vibrations from the cab would cause a loud rattling / buzzing noise from within the amp. When I unmounted the amp from the cab and just placed it on top of the cab instead, these rattles were reduced. If I lift the amp away from the cab and place it to one side, the rattles disappear. I have tried to isolate the buzz, opening the amp to see if any components were the obvious culprits - but to no avail. I am sure that this is possible to sort if you're a little more tech-savvy than myself - if you can then you've got yourself a great little amp for a low low price. You could also use this for silent recording - it has a good sounding DI out and can be ran safely without a speaker load. So you could get some of that Ampeg tone whilst recording silently. I can throw in a kettle lead, but unfortunately not a speaker cable. Link to spec on Ampeg website - https://ampeg.com/products/portaflex/pf-350/ Anyway, I've attached plenty of photos and tried to describe this one as accuracy as possible. You're welcome to come try it out, and any more questions just drop me a message. Chris. Oh - located in Bristol, happy to ship ay buyers expense.

Jamerson Analysed - At Last (I Found A Love)
chrisaxe replied to chrisaxe's topic in Theory and Technique
Hi - thanks for your comment. I believe that it is Jamerson, yes. The track is from the Marvin Gaye album 'Heard It Through The Grapevine'... the album displays a wide variety in his playing, with some of the tracks showing Jamerson 'changing his lines in every verse', and other more repetitive figures - such as on this track. Even his bassline on the title track is relatively simple when compared to some of his busier work, but it is definitely still Jamerson. -

Hello, For sale is the official Aguilar carry case for the TH500. Never been used, I bought it thinking I was going to get the amp but then changed my mind! So it’s brand new. Looking for £45. Collection is preferred but postage can be arranged - it’s pretty light so shouldn’t cost much. Photo below. Cheers! https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5zhh_SecBiKa2dEU0ZVY2Uzcmc

Hello, I had originally marked this as sold but it’s back up for sale! For sale is my TC Electronic BC410 bass cab. It is in perfect working order, albeit a little road worn from gigs! The badge on the front is unfortunately missing, and there are marks and chips in the Tolex all over - with one side in particular having taken a bit of a beating. All this is cosmetic, and the amp itself is in perfect working order and sounds fantastic. Below is the spec from the TC Electronic. The cab is built like a tank, and as a result is large and heavy - so collection is preferred! In between Bath and Bristol. Any questions, get in touch. Chris. Thanks Marco
Hello, I'm reluctant if I'm honest - I'm worried a bass this old may get damaged in transit. That said I will look into this and drop you a message. Thanks, Chris.

Hello, Putting out a feeler... Looking to sell my 1964 Hofner 182. This is a solid body Hofner bass, featuring the same staple pickups and control plate as the considerably more expensive violin basses from the same era. The bass is in good vintage condition - all electronics work perfectly and the pickups sounds fantastic. There is some light checking front and back, as well as some small knocks and chips peppered around. The larger chips I have tried to show in the photos. Obviously none of this effects the playability of the bass at all, and considering it's age it's in pretty good nick. As far as I can tell, all parts are original. It's a little shortscale bass (seriously not that much taller than a Fender Strat) and it's loads of fun to play. Tone wise it's actually pretty versatile. The neck pickup gives you loads of vintage low end thump, whilst the bridge pickup really adds some clarity and definition - managing to avoid the somewhat muddy sounds that some vintage instruments have. The bass is currently strung with some very old roundwounds and sounds great with a pick. 60's Hofner's are sometimes tricky to accurately date as they didn't print clear serial numbers on their instruments until later on, but using the pot codes (454) I have dated it to the 45th week of 1964 (http://www.vintageho...te/potcode.html). Lots of photos below, and please feel free to ask any questions. I live near Bristol and you are welcome to come and try the bass out. Collection preferred but happy to talk options - the thought of shipping something this old makes me nervous! Comes in what I believe to be the original hardcase - a little tatty but works just fine! Thanks, Chris. Hello, I bought this double bass just under a year ago and I would love to know some more information about it! The chap I bought it from had it for years and reckons it was made in the 1960's in Czechoslovakia. And that's really all the information I have. So I'm wondering whether this is correct, and if so was it manufactured by a particular company? Is it a particularly common bass? Is it indeed from the 60's? I have no intention of selling the bass, this is purely out of curiosity. I've attached some photos below showing some markings inside the body of the bass, as well as a sticker that's on the fingerboard. Any information would be much appreciated! Cheers, Chris.
