*** SOLD SUBJECT TO PAYMENT *** Hi guys, Due to the recent purchase of a Mesa 400+, I am looking to sell my Eden Nemesis 8x10 combo. I've had it a while now (got it in a swap deal a little while back) and it's served me well. Every gig I get comments and looks of fear from people when they see it! The amp sounds absolutely amazing and it is very versitle. The built-in options Eden throw in are brilliant (Compressor, Enhance Control, Semi-Parametric Equalizer, Three Band Tone Controls). The actual amp section is a 400 watt version of Edens' NA320 head, a link to the manual is below so that you can read about what's what! EDEN MANUAL Condition-wise, it is good. The cap for the DI knob at the back is missing and there is some minor gig-wear here and there. Overall though it is in good condition. I'm not looking for any swap deals on this as I to get some money back from buying the Mesa. I would like £500 for this, I can meet up (reasonable distance from Kent) or you can arrange a courier of your choice. Thanks for looking, I'll get some photo's of the actual amp up A.S.A.P. BLURB FROM EDEN: "The new NC 810 creates a whole new category for bass combos as well as a totally new performance standard. It is big enough to do heavy main stage work and easy enough to move in and out of small clubs. With it's thunderous low end and the ability to cut straight through the mix, the NC810 is totally capable of delivering all the superb detail and tonal subtleties you expect from Eden built bass products. Equipped with Kick back castors and 5 handles. Power 400 Watts RMS@4§Ù Tweeter T2004 Speakers 8-ES 1040XL Crossover 3Khz @12 db Power Handling 800W RMS Frequency Response 42Hz - 19Khz ±2dB Sensitivity 107dB SPL@1W1M Impedance 4§Ù Dimensions 24.75w x 48.75h x 16.25d Weight 120 LBS"
you know, flying V guitars are one of the coolest designs around. flying V basses just look wrong. same applys to semi acoustics, too. on the other hand the gibson firebird is nowhere near as cool as the thunderbird.
I think each to their own really mate. Personally I would love a Gibson Flying V Bass but I am not in the position to shell out the ridiculous amount of money you need to buy one. I half agree with you on the Firebird though, I think the black "studio" model looks really cool but I'm not a big fan of the Firebird V model which is more expensive.
Oh my god, that's insanely pretty!
I like it too, especially the cream binding. It will continue around the headstock on the finished model not just as shown in the picture. I have the Dean ML equivalent of thisBass. The neck pickup has the same sort of growl that my Gibson Thunderbird gives off. For passive pickups they really kick out. It plays like butter too, hopefully this V Bass will too!

Hi there, I've mentioned this before a while back but we are now at the stage where the Bass is going to go into production. Basically Dean guitars make a DOA (Dean Owners of America) Bass and Guitar each year. The DOA '09 Bass is going to be a "V" model as shown below. The specs are on the main thread which is HERE. 25 Basses are made in total and each are numbered. All you need is a small deposit and then you can be added to the list of recipients. The Basses will be ready about April next year so there is plenty of time to save up the money. For a guide, the last one made cost me £400 in total (including shipping). I imagine this will be roughly the same. If you are interested, please go to the thread HERE and make yourself known. Thanks for looking!
Shame! It was a very long-shot offer, not really looking to sell the Mesa - guess it's worth around £300-ish - but £300 in the hand is soon earmarked by Mrs Shaggy for a new patio etc and I've lost a rare and truly superb back-up cab, whereas £300 against a nice old bass is a nice old bass forever. The logic is chicken-hearted, but undeniable. Anything else? - I see you've got an RD too, don't suppose you've got one in sunburst or black? (love your taste in basses by the way!)
Sorry Shaggy afraid not mate. The Black RD's do look cool don't they? I'd love to get myself one at a later date! I've got 2 Deans but I want to keep hold of them. The only Bass I can trade is the T-Bird due to not playing it as much as the others. I've sent you a PM anyway. Cheers, Jim. -
