1. Does this do the job..? Buffer
2.
its an awesome rig though dude, that bass sound as metal as it looks?
Cheers, I love the sound I get from it. I get told to turn down by our guitarist who uses a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier with a 4*12 cab and a Marshall JCM2000 with a 4 * 12 cab. It can really cut through! I got the cab in an exchange with ste_3 from this very site. The dean has a brilliant metal sound to it. Surprisingly (although it doesn't look it) you can play quite a few different variations of styles on it. The only one it's not too good at is slap, but that would look a bit weird too!! I'm in the process of buying a Ltd Edition USA Dean ML Bass too.....
3. To be honest mate, I don't know. Brycebites would be the best person to ask as he seems to know A LOT about tubes.

9. Hi, I am selling my Alesis 3630 Dual Channel Compressor / Limiter which is in good condition, a bit of "rack rash" but nothing major. It comes with an Alesis power supply. A good, popular rack compressor which gives you a lot of control. £50 including postage anywhere in the UK. Thanks, Jim.
10. I've found the samples, uploaded them and modified the original post. All the links should work again now. Thanks, Jim.
11. Kev, I'll have a look tonight to see if I still have them. Cheers, Jim.

13.
nice bass - good luck. Is that an RD Artist nestling beside it?
A keen eye there Sir! Yes, it's my 1977 RD Artist!
14. Hi, I need to clear space for a new Bass and unfortunatley (for me) I have to part ways with my Non-Reverse Thunderbird. These are don't come up for sale very often and it took me a while to track one down. It comes with an Epiphone Hard Case which was about £90 on it's own. It's in great condition and is fitted with dunlop straplocks, one of which is behind the neck which eliminates any neck dive issues associated with t-birds. The action is nice and low, it plays and sounds great. I am looking for £350 including shipping. Thanks, Jim.
15. Hi, I have a Dean Z Tour Bass which is active (and sounds cool). The battery ran out the other day and the Bass died on me so it got me thinking.....could I install a switch or something to bypass the active curcuit? I will get some photo's of the guts of the Bass on by this weekend and if anyone could help me work this out, that would be great! Thanks, Jim.
16. Graham bought a Gator rack case from me. He picked it up directly from my house, no problems, great bloke, good chat!! Please do not hesitate to deal with Graham, he is brilliant.
17. Stephen is a great, honest guy to deal with. We met up and did a swap of equipment without any hassle or worries. Please feel confident dealing with him as he is a blinding geezer! ** Sorry Stephen, Geejay's and your post has just reminded me to leave feedback..... **
18. Ah....little Kylie.....
19. Stop it!!! You lot are starting to put too many ideas into he head!!!
20.
+1 on the status light .... You don't want to be looking round to your amp to see if your mute is on or off... Build it so that the status lamp is off for most of the time (ie whatever you default setting is) and use a quick release battery holder such as these from Axesrus (they are ony £4.20 inc postage) You'll thank me when your battery goes between numbers and you don't have to find a screwdriver
Blinding thanks. I have just come up with an idea about the LED's...... If I get two which light up, I can make them the naked lasses nips!
21. Yes, you have a good point. On the other hand, I could build a custom one to suit my board/style (cue artistic thoughts of skulls, knives, blood and naked women...!). I did have a look on Thomann and the cheapest I found was an H&K one for about £15 + postage.
