I like the box of blades. Have you a link for those please?
I couldn't find any locally. I have a blade holder similar to yours only it is retractable. The tool shop that sold it to me can't get blades even on order...!
Not only did he play an Alembic, he also had a coffee table made in the shape of an enormous Strat headstock. That's success for you.
Like Mick above, I'm very glad he's still with us after the "stall" he had.
Not being a fully paid-up member of The Donkey Club, since the unfortunate accident which forced me to surrender my membership card, I couldn't rightly say.
Never mind.
Perhaps we could find an image of a professional donkey to paste over the cowboy's a s s but I hear they charge consultancy fees just for answering the 'phone.
Very kind of you to say. Thank you.
You may use it as you see fit. I just wanted to see what the idea looked like roughed out. I think it's great "branding" for the band.
I thought you'd typed "scraped" for a minute and wondered whether you'd contracted summat nasty.
The neck is definitely the core of a good instrument, I agree. I researched them in part for the first BC podcast.
@Chownybass nicknamed me "the neck bloke" for that. Hahahaha! Like I demonstrated anything other than a tendency to state the obvious. I was barely scratching the surface in an attempt to educate myself and the listeners.
I think musicians tend to see the neck of an instrument as being crucial whereas wannabes see the body...
I'll follow up with:
Have you got any tasty hardware installed? That would certainly make it possible to recoup some of your money to invest in a different project.
It's a little more expensive and has cables to consider but I use a Zoom B3 to practice with headphones. There were a couple advertised here when I bought it. It has been superseded by Zoom's B3n so you should get one for a good price.
Welcome Fangio.
Re: "Bass face"; Have a good sniff of a Limburger or Camembert cheese before you start to play. Keep that lip curled for the rest of your performance and you'll be right.
