My living room AV processor stopped working for no obvious reason on Saturday morning. I switched it on as usual and the home screen from the Humax PVR showed but without sound. I switched off and then on again but this time, nothing. The TV could no longer see anything connected via HDMI and there was no sound apart from the quiet "pft" that always accompanies an input change. None of the sources work despite the AVR display showing the input change as if nothing is wrong. I've initially tried unplugging and re plugging cables but that has not changed anything. What do I do next?

Have you considered CF rods? I know some people have used them along with truss rods in neck manufacture. Perhaps they'd work in your bass body?
