  1. Les Dawson as Cosmo Smallpiece.
  2. Actually, it'd make a really good toasting fork for crumpet.
  3. Nice clean lines. Well done.
  4. Newtone can make you a set. Highly recommended.
  5. If you are a fan of natural then you seem to have a nice grain to show off.

    Hello

    Welcome Martin. Great avatar!
  7. May I be so bold as to suggest it be called The Therabass? I'm glad to hear that you are managing your health issues in this way. Having been there, I appreciate how well it works. It's interesting to note how close the battery pocket was to the original neck p/u route. If you'd chosen an active P, it looks like the D/G half would've fouled the battery pocket.
  8. If the individual shims work it certainly looks okay.
  9. Welcome Rob.
  10. Welcome Leroy.
  11. I'd say that was a respectable effort for a first time.
  12. Yes. Jean-Luc Pickguard did but I think he got away with it.
  13. Jah Wobble? I thought he was a laugh on Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
  14. Welcome Roger.
  15. Welcome Steve.
  16. I was hoping he'd say what he found useful on that. @devinebass, Did he say anything about the B3 off camera?
  17. Welcome Joe.
  18. Welcome Pete.
  19. Welcome Elliott.
  20. I dunno. I think I might enjoy having reproduction equipment that is the shape of a Hofner. It'd be a great ice breaker at parties.
  21. Aw. Never mind. Thanks anyway.
  22. It's not a washtub bass but I think it's relevant. Unfortunately the photo links are broken. If you ask @oldslapper nicely he might be able to restore them:
