    Hello

None needed but appreciated none the less. It's all a bit of fun in the end. Enjoy the forum.
  2. Welcome Furym.
  3. Reading Guy Pratt's book recently gave me this anecdote: He wrote that Bernard Edwards had told him: It doesn't matter where the fu(k you go... as long as you're back on the one. Great book by the way.
  4. I that was the brief, I'd divide it up so that we only had to do 33 each. I'm lazy that way.
  5. So... it's like the old saying... we ALL have our vices.
  6. I didn't get where I am today by being nowhere.
  7. Nice. The quick release is a useful feature.
  8. A relaxed approach is often more beneficial.

    Hello

Sense of humour failure there. Never mind.
  10. What he said.^^^
  11. Paul has sent me his copy of Phil Lynott: The Rocker to me free of charge. It arrived in great condition and beautifully wrapped in brown paper by his other half. As before, I have made a donation of dog food at a local collection point. Being the owner of a smashing looking Black Labrador himself, Paul requested the donation instead of payment. I'm happy to oblige. There must be lots folk who find it hard to put food on the table, let alone afford pet food, these days. He's a good bloke to deal with. No fuss or complications of any kind.
  12. WHO? Welcome Lethbridge.

    Hello

Thank you for not calling it quaint.
  14. Welcome BB. I've had one of those for quite a while now. At the time of purchase, in the eighties, it was regarded as a good recording instrument. Mine even has an XLR fitted to send a clean signal to the interface. A tip if you haven't already heard of them: Superwound AKA piano wound strings... It's not easy to get them now, especially as DBEs, but if you ever have the opportunity, get some. They complement the neck-through design of the bass quite well, giving you more harmonics and great sustain.
  15. Good to see you and the invisible bear are going strong. All the best to you and the band.
  16. Welcome Rob.

    Welcome Eko.
  18. Welcome Cliff. It's sat on top of the stave.
  19. My belly button looks like a knot.
  20. What do you mean "going"?
  21. Welcome NB. Thank you for offering to decorate the site. You will find some overalls and a paint roller in the cupboard under the stairs.
