  1. The pilot drill size should be no greater than the core size of the screw but as close to it as you can get.
  2. I've done the Pitbull SR kit myself. The IB5. The build thread is here, in case my sig file and links aren't displayed on your device. I made a rebate template, just like you have, but from half inch MDF. I then clamped it to the back of the body at a slight angle and it was flexible enough to follow the body curve to a degree. Luckily it worked well. The specific part about that is here. Try a dry fit first. It might be flexible enough.
  3. Good man! It's one of the reassuring things to see our postie still doing the rounds.
  4. You might find this an interesting read. I don't think for a minute that they are the only ones doing this either. Channel 4 investigation catches Hermes couriers sending customers' 'missing' packages straight to AUCTIONEERS to sell despite being labelled with correct addresses
  5. Okay, so it's in compression rather than tension but what is it actually bearing against? Is there a shoulder? I mean, you have to access the end of the rod with whatever adjustment tool it requires...
  6. How does the rod exert a force on the neck though? I imagine it to be secured at one end and that the bit you turn acts like tightening a bolt... I've never actually seen the end secured however. Is there a little tee slot or something?
  7. I bet Superman is afraid of that. It's SO green, it's like green Kryptonite. I like everything about it except the headstock.
  8. Absolutely. You'd have to pick the right moovement for the performance.
  9. He knew what he was getting into when he decided to brisket.
  10. Ahem. Heeheehee That's an extraordinary guitar with the void like that.
  11. Mirrored. I like the extra thickness to it as well. It's subtle but it makes a difference. As long as it doesn't foul your stroke, so to speak.
  12. My mum and dad lived in Twickenham for a few years and I learned of some of the island's history from that. Trevor Baylis (of the clockwork radio) lived on the island at the time.
