  1. Clearly I am in a minority here. I was scarred by pathetic attempts to programme things through tiny 2 row LCD displays back in the day. Octavious Squeezer - I am looking at you.
  2. Still no sign of the silver sparkle, but this looks like fun https://www.hotroxuk.com/revelation-rvjtb-metalic-purple-6-string-bass.html?utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=organic&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpNuyBhCuARIsANJqL9MssKjo5mQ_J--v2drFCAdfQF2N4u8PY9m7oAIkLXXHnUKNaKReTucaAkGXEALw_wcB

We knew in the late 80's that anything pre CBS was good and anything post CBS was bad. Now people know that anything before 198* is good and anything after 198* is bad. This is nothing new.
  4. ......5.....mutter......hand off......mutter......5.......mutter...... That is a fine looking axe.
  5. I figured I was safe in the "other instruments" forum. It is certainly not the instrument we all love the best!
  6. This is very much a work in progress - but you did ask. And it is not featured in a massive way, because I am not a guitarist! 1st one in the track. 2nd one Solo'd guitar. Monkey bc.mp3 Monkey bc G Solo.mp3
  7. Chris had things I did not know existed but I needed as soon as I clocked them. I have only just paid and they are not packed yet. But I just know everything is going to be alright.
  8. Is there a lusher neck carve than my MTD Kingston? I am yet to find it. And you just KNOW I have been trying.

This is all well and good as long as it was not that D-Roc which you will have to offer to ME before putting it on public sale.

Any shop has to put their percentage on. Otherwise, there is no point in running the shop. I have dealt with BB a couple of times. Once, something went wrong which was neither their fault nor mine and Wil's customer service was outstanding - absolutely above and beyond.
  11. And I am going to pick it up today!
  12. Townsend L22s Are those the ones which can be set to sound like a variety of different mics? They look lush.
  13. I have one of these. They are great. My daughter has managed to break the protective cage around the capsule. It was a sad day. But, it is a lovely mic.
  14. Mixing live and broadcast in the same room is virtually impossible. We do the same at church but have a desk which can also be operated by an iPad. This means I can leave the room to make sure the "broadcast" mix is ok. We also have a nice pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones to help. But it is all compromise. And we go out on Zoom which does HORRIBLE things to full band audio.
  15. Is FB receiving the same mix as the PA in the room? If so, it is possible that you are not in the PA becuase your amp is loud enough. Is it a separate mix for FB? It is possible that you have inexperienced techs who are doing a room mix and doing a FB mix on headphones in the same room. If the bass is loud enough in the room then it will be rolling into the headphones from the room and they would think "I can hear the bass" and not add any more. Amongst many other possibilities!
  16. I am also looking forward to hearing how it turns out. The tech has had it for a month so far I will have a Japanese Squier pre-routed for a Shelton system for sale then. Not that anyone is ever going to find an uninstalled Shelton system anywhere. But with a normal neck plate on it you would never know it has been chambered!
  17. Exciting. Where do you get it plexed?
  18. This is all well and good, but we need names!
  19. It is a joy. If I could play it effectively it would be even better! At the moment it is being moved from the donor instrument to my "main" Tele. "Main"! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
  20. Just found this vid I took of the night in question
  21. OK. I can see that is not as exciting
