It was an NS5 EU. I no longer own it. But it was superb. Low action and TI Spiro is all mwah. Jack up the bridge and put Innovation Honeys on and it gives a lovely woody thump. There was another set of steel core classical strings which were like playing velvet. It responds beatifully to different strings

Hi Recording Forum Massive, I am editing the dreaded lockdown videos. It is amazing what you can achieve with reverb and auto-tune. Anyway, a problem I am running into again and again is syncing audio. It comes in on phone camera videos. I can strip the audio off and drag stuff together so that everyone starts in the same place but then parts seem to stretch or contract so that they go out of sync with each other. I am thinking frame rates, . I am thinking sample rates. I am thinking unknown unkonwn rates. But nothing seems to make it work. Am I missing something obvious here? Logic tells me that the original frame rate is different from the set rate and then I keep the original rate and weirdness happens. Humph, what to do? TIA

They are old so obviously have THE TOOOOOONE FOR DAAAAAYYYSSS thing going on. It's funny, there is not much kit around which has made me radically change my mind about it since the 1st time round. If it was lame back in the day it most certainly has not changed in the intervening 30 years. I am not refering specifically to this model of bass. For absolute clarity, I am just discussing "old=better".

I am thinking of buying one off Ebay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MiNi-5string-ukulele-electric-bass-neck-thru-Ukelele-Uke/363051228775?hash=item54878a1e67%3Ag%3AX98AAOSwH0Vb5F06&LH_All=1) and messing with it to make a very small Bass Guitar. Do any of you have actual direct experience with these? I can live with rough edges because my supreme lutherie skills are up to it. I own sandpaper.
