  1. They are like pebbles. In a good way.
  2. Of course, if it was it would not be for sale......
  3. That is going to be a fine looking axe. And we know it will play well.
  4. Classic look from the guitarist @ 0:16 as he realises it is going to be a cool set.
  5. I use a KW112 at work. It is the wooden boxed version (I believe) of the K12. It is a VERY capable box. I slapped a KW118 sub underneath it, for research purposes obviously. In the room I was in the sub did not make a significant difference. The KW is quite the thing.
  6. I have just bought a 6 string with a neck so wide I could park a car on it. Of course, it is too wide for my normal stand. What do people use?
  7. I think what impressed me most about my last Overwater is that it was the most well behaved bass I have ever played. Everything did exactly what it should. It was dead quiet in all situations. The balance of notes was superb all the way through the range. It sat very well in every situation I used it in. The sound was almost post production solid, but in a really good way. It was a joy to play. I sold it cos I am a lightweight and could not deal with the 6th string, but that is not Overwater's fault.
  8. That was not a trick question. I have now found them. They are Handy Handles. And it looks as if they are not sold anymore. So I guess my next question is, what else is out there?
  9. I bought a batch of these years ago. Really useful to carry coiled leads. I need more. I cannot for the lofe of me remember what they are called or where I got them. Yes, I have googled. Can anyone help?
  10. <goes off to plan a 36" 6 string original with bottom F#>.............
  11. Unless it was from the infamous slate period.
  12. I have owned 3. I traded the first (original in Purple Burst) for a pair of EMG Jazz pickups. What an idiot. The second was a 6 string 36" which I picked up and had Chris totally refurb. It was just sublime. Quite the most even bass I have played but the extra string made my head go soggy inside. So I sold it. I have just picked up another 6 string 36" from the same era which will go back to Chris for another refurb. I will practice with it because the sound on the 2nd was genuinely something else. It will be strung bottom F# to G and will speak with the voice of thunder.
