  1. The tracking says delivered. The bloke in the van says he delivered a large rectangular box to said address and it was signed for. DHL Germany have suggested " that the "delivered" status in tracking seems to be a scanning error and they claimed the parcel to still be in delivery". The sender is doing all he can from his end. Sadness
  2. I have discussed it with DHL on FB and on Twitter.
  3. I was expecting a delivery yesterday. It should have come to **** 2TP. It went to ****2YP. This has been confirmed by the courier driver. He was dealing with the address on the parcel. The wrong address had been put on the parcel earlier in the chain but it was my address which was handed over with the parcel in Germany. No one is stepping up and dealing with it in DHL. I cannot get anyone to talk to me because I am not the sender. The sender cannot get any sense because "Seems like DHL UK / UK Mail won't help me either because according to them I'm not the sender." 4. Ah, just the right amount of everything there
  5. There are steps up to the platform which run along the length. I could lay them in a horizontal line on the step, but there are perhaps access issues. I will look into that. It is an HK Elements system with 4 1x10 active subs. We are not going for ear bleeding volume It is not really that I am dissatisfied with what we are getting, but I had clocked Sub placement coming up now and again (from @Bill Fitzmaurice in particular) and got to thinking.
  6. Centrally together would make an interesting lectern for the minister, but I can see it not working aesthetically for the situation. Don't get me wrong, I would love it but.....y know.....
  7. Some put them on either side of the stage. Some clump them all together. What is the present thinking?
  8. What I am hoping for is one which can project over the top keyboard to get where it would be if it was only the one keyboard. But thanks for pointing this at me.

A nice piece of Ash needs no fancy top.
  10. That is the very best bit. And there are loads of them. Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes me happier than finding cool things that I can use but are totally beyond me to create.
  11. To the OP. Since when is my wife posting on here?
  12. Your joyous day inspired me to go after the one I did not get. It is on it's way over from Germany. I am refreshing the tracking once an hour
  13. I think I use CompressLess TonePrints by Melvin Lee Davis
  14. I am trying to sort out the keyboard set up in Church. We have 2 keyboards. One is a digital piano with a built in stand and the other is on an x stand behind it. We can get both keyboards in the right place but the music stand is just too far away. I have found picture of a music stand tray on a mic stand boom http://www.netinstruments.com/sheet-music/sheet-music/sight-reading-easier-boom-stand-sheet-music/image/38327.jpg/. I realise that there will be all sorts of stability issues but I can overcome those. Can I find anywhere that will sell them? Can I heck. Any ideas? TIA
  15. I am proper gutted. I wondered into this forum without realising it and thought "Shuker J5 and the price is right! I am going in!" Then I saw the pictures and realised I was in the wrong place.
  16. I have one. It does all that stuff you hoped synth pedal would do but never found one which actually did it. The new firmware is going to keep it ahead of the game. Some sounds require a modification of technique, but that is true for all synth pedals (Syb 5 and Korg G5 - I miss the G5), and I would expect it. It is effectively a new instrument. It is no longer a bass guitar making bass guitar noises.
  17. G&L metalflake finishes are the bomb. Their facebook feed is just chock full of nice looking instruments. They do lovely pastel shades. Their aesthetic is just so right.
  18. It was not my finest moment. I totally feel your pain though. I was not trying to trump your misfortune.
  19. I managed to break two expensive B strings once. It turns out that I was squashing them into the side of the string box. I am not suggesting this is what you did, but putting it out there for info.
  20. I have the drop d hipshot thang on my bass. It goes from bottom B to A in a fabulous way. You do have to bend right down to use it and you will not be as easy to slide back up as a hipshot on a plank.
