I play bass at Church. Most of the time there is a drummer there playing an electric kit. Sometimes there is not. It strikes me that I could do snare and kick drums using my feet using piano sustain pedals (small square not fancy dan ones) with an onboard piezo. I could plug those into the relevant socket on the sound module and off I go. Touch sensitive would be nice. Is this doable or am I making an eejit of myself? Again?

I have a full rosewood neck which looks similar. But I am in no way qualified to comment. I would like to see the body. It sounds like a very good looking combo. I am shallow enough to be a sucker for a good looking combination.

I had a box for leads made 18 years ago. It is bombproof. It is light and will take a beating.

The 'Z' option on the Audere I had in my MTD Heir made the sound go mahoosive, in a good way. Something else on my long list of things I should have not changed.

I would be seriously tempted to get LeBlond to make a plain rectangular box to size for it and fill it with foam. The box would not weigh that much. Once it is full of bass you could rivet handles/straps onto it so that it balances correctly.

I do realise that neither of these are a bag!

I have always thought about getting LeBlond to make a lightweight but solid case. Trifibre do the LeBlond kind of thing. One of those with a CNC cut innner would be all you need unless someone else is chucking it into the back of an Artic every night. What is the EUB? I have my NS in an Explorer case which is great. It cost me a lot when I did in the DB BB.

I got the impression that the Alix is a single channel version of the Felix (sorry if I am starting internet folklore here). In which case it is a lovely preamp. The Felix would have shown you what the Alix would do. In this kind of situation I would be all "distance selling" buy it to try it and then send it back for a full refund if it is not for me.

Mine too. Just horrible.

The Felix is lusher - as it blinkin well should be at 6 x the price. Is it 6 x times better? Not really. The law of diminishing returns kicks in - as you would expect. The Felix is the best buffer for my Fishman Full Circle I have found. Perhaps 20% better than a Fdeck HPF pre. Which is also SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. Do I regret owning it? Nope. Do I think it is money well spent? I dunno.

I have a Felix. I had it at the Bass Bash. Sorry, you did not want to hear that.

Classic sound editing when the volume of the bass stays the same but the speaking voices sound a bit far away and compressed.

I thought it was just me.
