  1. Hi Bob, I m afraid that I have no idea on both counts but can do some research and come back to you! Cheers Owen
  2. Gentle bump. I was not expecting an immediate sale. It will go when it is time but I know that you (yes, that is YOU) are considering it seriously. You know you are
  3. Electrics really. Also only one coat of varnish on it as yet. And it needs to be reliced.
  4. In fresh news, it looks like it actually will be there
  5. Is anyone coming up from Brighton? If so, Toby Chennell who is building me this has said that he would be willing to release it into the wild for a weekend for me to mess with it while it is unfinished. He is stressing that we are still prototyping it and it is a work in progress. If there is no one then I will just have it couriered up to me.

    Musycal

I wish I was busy enough to need this
  7. I have not quite grasped that uploading pictures into the new BC thing yet. Can you tell?
  8. Sadly I don't think it will be ready by then. I think it will be structuraly but the fdeck on board preamp in nano format with an extra passive tone control I have had built is proving problematic and needs more work. Sad times

    East Pre-Amps

Does this mean there are new P-retro preamps out there? I have been looking for quite some time to no avail.
  10. I have a strange compulsion to collect an instrument from each of Leo's companies. I am strong enough to resist it, but it is there
  11. I can bring a QSC KW112 if you want to get all FRFR.
  12. I tried the MAS 45 at a DB bash. It was really refined. I liked it a lot.
  13. From personnal experience, the time not to move to a five is half way through your honeymoon necessitating a 3 hour detour and going straight into a gig when we got home thinking "the extra string cannot be THAT tricky".
  14. On reflection, it looks like Humph's bass which he sold in the shop in upper Bangor way back when. It was really nice. I have just asked him by email. Anyone not familiar with Bangor guitar shops and the local scene can zone out now .
  15. A student of mine bought his dad's SB1000 in sometime ago. I was all excited until I played it. There seemed to be VERY little spread in string spacing between nut and bridge. Suffice to say it was NOT for me.
  16. You guys with the references! I am on to you. I can see what you are doing and I like it. How do I like it? That's the way, aha aha, I like it. Can I be in your gang now? I am in Snowdonia in North Wales. Here is the pier and the mountains Here is one of our favourite beaches and the lighthouse at the end of it (with more mountains).
  17. Clearly not a hardcore seller. Must try harder.
