  1. Sadly, mine did not have front LEDs. But thanks for chiming in.
  2. If we are going to become emotionally invested in this we will need pictures of the body as well.
  3. The silver wire will enable you to play faster and enrich your harmonic vocabulary. And many other things which are unknown unknowns but well worth buying.
  4. "Better strings" is incredibly subjective. The EBs will be just fine and dandy.
  5. Thanks everyone! Keep them coming. I cannot guarantee to buy them all.
  6. Level 3, but we might reach Level 4 one day! Thanks all, keep them coming.
  7. I work in an educational institution which has a library budget. If we do not spend that budget it will be made smaller next year. We have not spent the budget. Could anyone suggest any good things to get? I am not specifically looking for bass books. General music books, good stuff about songrwriting and other aspects of the industry, biographies, sleeve art (not tattoos!) books. Anything really. TIA.

Don't hold your breath. Life is constantly getting in my way. I used to own the Summit so would enjoy that.

When I actually get around to digging into my ToneX I will be all over that Noble one. I look forward to capturing a couple of mine and then downsizing all the things I am keeping for those occasions I know in my heart will never happen.

I wrote them a pathetic request on their help page.
  11. New wheels with gaps as well. Weight saving. Smart.
  12. That is all good then I completely re-rotued mine. I could not stop myself.
  13. I took mine from a single MM + ACG filter pre to 2 J soapbars + East Uni Pre. I LOVED the bass but could not get with the original electrics. SO worth it. It is beyond lush.

Is it possible to tune it so that you can transfer to it using already-established muscle memory? I know that instruments are built for specific tunings, but a little tweak now and then can just be called scordatura I remember actually LOLing when I tuned my DB up a tone for the first time. Bowing it was like bowing a 'cello all of a sudden. I have often considered buying a 'cello again and buying "4ths" strings for it.
  15. That is a fine looking axe.
