I did a pit gig before Christmas. I was sitting there with my phone trying to get my glow-in-the-dark position markers to function. LEDs are totally the way forward. I actually had a Sei 5 with LEDs back in the day <sigh>.

Yep it was the CP. I would have kept it and midi'd it up for the pianists to use in church, but playing an electric piano is a different headspace from playing a piano. Great video!

I have a three way switcher which I bought 2nd hand many years ago. Buzz Electronics no longer even make them. I emailed them for some instruction and Tom has been very gracious guiding me through the whole process. Top marks.

A lot of my playing these days is DI'd. Therefore I like to have some control on my actual bass, not even at my feet. If I was going into backline I would be quite happy to be playing an instrument with no preamp. It is what works for you, not what works for someone on the internet who quite possibly thinks that particular set up might sound thin in their bedroom.

Did the magic happen for you? I fancy picking up a Morningstar MC6 so as to get use out of the expression pedal stuff. But am painfully aware that I get snowblind very quickly indeed when it comes to dealing with things which are not astonishingly obvious. The amount of kit I have bought, looked at and sold before learning it, is embarrassing. I am aware that it would be doubling aspects of my Midimouse 3 but I could shift that if the MC6 is idiot proof. And I mean really idiot proof.
