1. Taken out of a USA P5. I'm sure I needed it, but now I cannot remember why I needed it. Perhaps I did not need it after all. LIfe is funny that way.
2. Istanbul Mehmet 20" ride sizzle. Rivets all out but I have a set of custom fit removable brass rivets (better tone) for it. Also known as very small brass bolts and nuts. No dents, keyholing or any of that malarky. Stick marks and decomposing foam from case. More sizzle than a bacon sandwich. [s]£115[/s] £100 to you door
3.
I reckon you'll find Bottom F# a couple of frets up from Bottom E. That's OK, no need to thank me.
4. Used but good to go. I no longer need them. Not looking for trades at the moment. Need them you know you do.
5. If you look very carefully you can see a D-tuner on it. I am afraid that will be coming off unless you REALLY want it and pay me £40 more.

7. Demeter Minnie to DB751. From the sublime to the sublime.
8. I had clocked the Circle K stuff but it would mean posting from the US and I need a string NOOOOOOOW. But thanks for the input
9.
Lots and lots of stuff by Gilbert and Sullivan, at least according to my dad.
Oooof, that takes me back.
10. Upon further consideration, he also knows aesthetics.
11. Ta. I had been wondering around the usual sites looking for singles but there was nothing there. I just googled the Warwick and up it popped.
12. Hi all, I am messing with a bottom F# thang. I have just bought a Harley Benton BZ 6000 to see how the whole thing works. It is a 35" 5 piece through neck. I have been keeping a .195 string on one side for the right moment. It turns out that my .195 is a 34" scale. Gutted. It also turns out that .195 is more suitable for towing cars. Or perhaps setting up suspension bridges. Where do I get a (guessing) .165 35" scale string in the UK? I need one ASAP because I have a hugely important major world tour coming up. Obv, that last sentence was not true. I just want one because I want one. But I really want it ASAP.
13.
I've just finished the new paint work on my own FEARLESS F212. Now this will keep up with drummers, Guitarists, more guitarists, keyboards, brass sections !!
Oooooooof! Is that in wedge format?
14.
Think that if the amp is rescueable then tracking down another speaker from Jim bergantino might be a better bet. I'm half tempted to explore it further
Do it for me!
15. If anyone is handy with a soldering iron there is a dead Berg IP310 on ebay at the moment which has a potentially really nice plate amp in it that has a "blown power stage due to water/ liquid ingress ". http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281427447511?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2661&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
16. So this is a short scale P5? Forgive my ignorance.
17. I am totally going to build a solid bodied Ukebass with Pyramid metal strings with a body which will look like the fat baby of a Les Paul and a Ritter single cut. All lush curves made from a piece of Burr Elm. I have actually designed it in my head a few years ago but knew I would never have the skills. Excited I am.
18. Is it fretted? I NEED to try a fretted one.
19. From the bottom up C, G, D and A is standard 'cello tuning.
20. My guess would be that the strings on it would be fine to at least get a flavour. The E would go down a 3rd, the A would go down a tone, the D does not move and the G goes up a tone. All things considered, not a huge change in tension.
21. I have an early Kingston 5. I have owned an awful lot of basses. 35+? I lost count. Many have been eye-wateringly expensive. 90% of them have gone and I still have the Kingston. It is light, the neck is sublime and it is a joy to play. I cannot comment on the more recent ones, but mine is just the bomb.
