1. Ryan bought my REDDI. Smooth does not even begin to describe this transaction
2. Just fabulous!
3. I am. It does it for me.
4. The strings are certainly different and not for everyone. I love them but can see why people would not. When they are new then yes there are tuning issues, but these stabilise over the initial weeks.

10. Wow! A blast from my past. You want 128 different EQ patches with a choice of SS or valve pre with 2 programmable effects loops? You have come to the right place. These are more fun than is good for you and also sound great.
11. I love you Mr 90.
12. You will need to be on comission for all the DVDs you have inadvertantly sold!
13. Bangor, North Wales.

18. Obv, pics would help!
19. I am taking views on pricing on this. My suspicion is that I have aimed high, but then it is a Japanese Squier. I just don't know.
20. Thanks, I am on it like gravy on a pie.
21. I have more pre-amps than I need. I have been messing with them and it is time to move some on [s]Demeter HBP-1 £320 inc carriage[/s] [s]Alembic F1-X £350 £330 inc carriage[/s] [s]REDDI DI £460 inc carriage[/s] Need them you know you do. It's been a busy evening
22.
and it's not fair on my poor old mum to have her living room taken up by gear that I now hardly use!
You are wrong, mums dig that stuff!

J+P in one?
Here's a useful review of the Model Js which gives more detail on the coil configuration and series/parallel switching. http://basschat.co.u...-model-j-dp123/ Separate series/parallel switching for neck and bridge pups should give loads of tonal flexibility and looks like a great option to me. Tempted to try it myself.
That sounds like what I am looking for. Sorry Mr Byrne, I should have listened in the first place Now to find ones in 5 string format. I'm sure Mr Wizard can come up with something suitable

J+P in one?

But is there a difference in windings? More/less? Is it just the two coils going into humbucking mode which change the character of the sound or is it to do with more/less wire on the coil? I am not being deliberately stupid here.
