1. My DB needs are met by that thing in my avatar, and I have an NS5 and and Arco EUB so I am fully covered for the DB esque tone. I like the way my hands sit playing vertically and I also like the curvature of the fingeboard for my right hand. I like the idea of a 41/42" scale length for the fat strings. I'm sure a bottom F# would work quite happily on an EUB but the thought of a fretted one is intriguing. It would be a different flavour.
 2.
I would.

I hate her recorded music, always over produced and noisy but live she is something else. I love her when she is singing with a live band, wow just wow. And yes I totally would!!
Oh, please, do we have to?
 3. Thanks Clarky. I could big it up till the cows come home, and what you said would have been my guess, but I do not actually KNOW.
 4. I have not had any experience with the Aguilar/BF combination so cannot make a meaningful comment - however IIRC Clarky runs just that so I will ask him to chip in.
 5.
do you do the inovation super silvers
'Fraid not.
 6. Resale value? Not always an issue, obv, but it is pretty low.
 7. I have a Seymour Duncan MM5 replacement that I could flog you.
 8.
You could look for a second hand Hohner Steinberger clone and put it on a stand - would probably work out cheaper.
I am thinking about the curvature of the fingerboard as well. I do realise that I did not put this in the original post
 9. Anyone tried/own one of these? There are a lot of things that make me more comfortable on an upright instrumental position. The idea of frets as an option is attractive. http://thinkns.com/instruments/omnibass.php
 10.
' timestamp='1317135750' post='1387177'] Not quite that sophisticated, just the subscribe to forum button!
Ho hum It was exciting while it lasted
 11.
' timestamp='1317038184' post='1385702'] The subscribe button is my friend!
So you can set up an email reminder if an item you are looking for comes up? How? That is too exciting for words!
 12. This is a neck I bought here in a fit of excitement. You know how it is. I was going to build myself the ultimate J5. Then I remembered that I have virtually no woodworking skills and very little spare time. D'oh! What was I thinking? As you can see the headstock has taken a hit, but the repair is solid and it is all good. I have no idea what the machine heads which go in here are and I do not have any. It is a nice piece of wood on the fingerboard. Need it you know you do.
 13.
no pictures is the problem i think
That is a fair point. I have been doing this for long enough to know better! 14. You should have an Aguilar TH500 on that list. Then you could buy mine
 15. Mine is 3 stacked pots. One collar is the pan control. If you wire your pickup into one side of that and leave the other side, I presume it will work as a single pick up thing.
 16. Is there nothing you guys cannot do?
