I occasionally scan places to see if I can find something which would do this. As yet, nothing has come up under £400. But I will continue to look.

This is the vocal mic you have always promised yourself. If it is good enough for Bowie then it is good enough for us. You can also use it on kick drums, bass cabs, loud brass etc etc. It is an industry standard for a reason. Or you could use it to do lame podcasts about niche topics listened to by 9 people - one of whom will be your mother. But she will not listen past the first 40 minutes of episode 1. Sorry to burst your bubble. There is a donk on the nose so is priced accordingly. The donk does not affect sound in any way. I will do pics this evening.

We knew in the late 80's that anything pre CBS was good and anything post CBS was bad. Now people know that anything before 198* is good and anything after 198* is bad. This is nothing new.
