The studiospares own brand stuff is cheap and cheerful and virtually bombproof. We are running 10" ones at work (with subs) for my students to practice PA with. They get driven to within an inch of their lives and still smile.

Is it a toy or is it a cheap and cheerful midi controller which might actually work?
Discuss.

I agree. You could strip away EVERYTHING else he did and he would still have played with everyone and their dogs because his time would make your band sound good. End of. As I heard a drummer say of another bassist (not Jaco) "he puts the beat in a sexy place".

I do not know a price yet as I am not selling. I have a friend who has an unopened one and I said I would put an ad up for him. I shall get a price tomorrow.
Just putting this up to see if anyone fancies it.
The only issue here is that if you are plugging unbuffered piezo pick-ups into a desk they are going to sound thin and nasty. If this is not going to be an issue then please ignore this
Dave, I have used a Mackie SRM 350 for many years. You will need a pre-amp so not strictly speaking combo territory, but small, easy to angle and really pretty punchy.
