I dropped my Double Bass because my carrying strap broke. It cost the insurance company £2K. It was nasty.
Blimey mate you've done well to get that in (inc taxes) so cheap. Good luck and I'm intrigued to know what the mystery bass is likely to be.
I took it without a case and shipped with the neck off so that reduced shipping considerably. The next bass is, ummmmmm............

This is an odd one, in that I have not even received it yet (just cleared customs), but something else has come up and I need to liquidate some capital. Lakland Skyline with Audere pre as in pics. You can have it as it is in the pics OR you can have it with a rosewood board. I have a spare Lak JO5 R/W neck in store waiting for the right occasion Whichever neck does not go will be available as a bare neck (no hardware on it) when this goes. The thread on TB where I got it is here http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=490375 It comes with the pick up cover and iirc a black and a white scratchplate. I am in it for £880 and am looking for that. No trades. Obv, want it you know you do

I have no commercial interest here. If you want lorry loads of clean professional (stable, quiet and full range with more headroom than a Cathederal) power, here it is. 5Kw into 4 Ohms bridged, 2.5K stereo into 2 Ohms 1.5Kw stereo into 4 Ohms and 900w stereo into 8 Ohms. I used to run the A3000 as a power amp. HUGE reserves of power are where it's at people. Pro power amp control your speakers in a way that will make you go "why did no one tell me that before?". It's where the tone is. I do not know this seller, but I do know Chevin amps. These are in the same league as the big Crown amps.

Audere and Sadowsky pre/DI

The Audere is here http://www.audereaudio.com/3ZB.htm It is a 4 band on 2 x dual pots + Balance + volume + Low Z switch. The Sadowsky is the footpedal model with DI and mute switch. I have a feeling that it is too cheap, but it is what I paid for it here Here it is http://www.sadowsky.com/audio/index.html Cheers, Owen -
A cracking looking bass - this may prompt some disgust elsewhere but how do you reckon it would be with it's frets pulled out? I'd get it done properly! Ieuan
Ummmmmm........... I guess that it would work well. It is light and resonant and the Piezos certainly sound finer than a fine thing. I could get the pliers out tonight!
1 of only 5 in existance (I think it could be slightly more) I'm fairly certain mine is the only one in red sparkle. It the pedal below the 2nd volume pedal inbetween the Valcoder and the Bottom Feeder. This is a very odd and unique pedal that can cop everything from synthy fuzz to ring mod esq tones and all manner of odd things inbetween. There really is nothing like it other than possible the Moog Freqbox and that is 6 times the size, not 9vdc and not this cheap £70
You have tweaked my interest, but I cannot find any sound samples. Sale or return?

I bought a Steinberger NS5 from David ages and ages ago. Everything was cool

Due to really bad planning on my part I managed to buy two 88 note keyboard stands for my church. One is in use, but due to even more bad planning I managed to not return the other one in time. I started thinking about it and suddenly realised that I could use it as a stand for my cab. It lifts it up so that the sound is hitting me square between the shoulder blades. It is one of these and it rocks! http://www.thomann.de/gb/km_18950.htm The initial outlay was more than I would have thought of paying, but by the time I would have had to pay carriage back due to me being caught in a time vacuum and leaving it too late to post back on their coin it has become quite reasonable, and having used it on a gig last night, it is (for me) £70 well spent.
