  1. Hi Rob, You are popping up on all sorts of threads which appeal to me and you are giving solid input. I am enjoying your contribution, welcome aboard. Owen
  2. It is all Greek to me, but very exciting!
  3. Off topic is the best thing! Will it be as good as a basic Squier? Does a Squier have a bright orange honeycomb body part? No. No, it does not. I read about someone in the US making one with a non HB kit and they had to make quite a few small detail adjustments. If you do make one I will totally need to see it.
  4. I discussed this elsewhere on the site, but here it is again. I cannot say I am not tempted. https://blog.prusa3d.com/the-prusacaster-how-to-design-and-3d-print-an-electric-guitar_71962/
  5. My people are here. LEOPARD PRINT FTW!
  6. Crazy! There is no way I clocked them as stickers. I shall have the same.
  7. 1st picture in the thread has dot inlays. Now it has widescreen. What gives?
  8. I hugely enjoyed Mr Machines's D-Roc. I am keeping a vague eye out for one.
  9. There is no denying it, those lights are pretty!
  10. I have one on my B on a Fender J5. It is great.
  11. He has come back to me with all the info, thanks. I will now have to take the machine to pieces so they can scan it.
  12. Glad to hear this. It really is a night and day difference.

Guilty as charged. BassBashes are always punctuation marks in my GAS story.

I used Lemon oil on a brand new Allparts neck once. I have no idea what I did but had to have the frets all polished up again as it was gritty and horrible. Everyone else gets along with it fine, but I will never use it again.
  15. Excellent! This is the exact info I need. Thanks.
  16. 1995 Owen would be horrified, but I fancy a cream pickup cover. They are not available for my 5 string G&L MFD humbucker. Has anyone had any joy printing a cream pickup cover? I have never done any 3D printing so have no idea if this is easy peasy or it will come out looking like a primary school project. I am also presuming that it will be a matter of 3D scanning the present pickup cover. Again, is this a thing?
  17. That is a Uke Bass made by Toby Chennel who flies under the Jazz Box Ukes banner. When I owned it it was tuned BEADG - I am not sure how HJ has it tuned.

My title is misleading really, I actually bought two of Jez's basses. I am away at the moment but will get a pic up when I get home. It makes this one look big.
