1. This might be obvious to all apart from me, but when I tried it first I forgot to do anything with the nut and it sounded like you say yours does.

Boxed with instructions. I have added velcro feet to the bottom but these can easily be removed. http://www.ebs.bass.se/2007/microbass.htm Paypal is fine. £200 inc postage.
I'll take it. Send me Paypal details Ta
4. I've owned 2. The 5 HH was immense. I will own another one day. The 5H/S with piezo was deeply underwhelming in comparison. The piezo was my first piezo thing. It was not good at all. I then got a Bolin with piezo. Just fabulous. So to sum up (for me) 5HH = fab. 5H/S piezo = not the fire breathing dragon I was hoping for. YMMV obv.
5. Amp. If you cannot (or get someone to) set up the action and intonate your bass then is not cheap, it is firewood. If you got a 2nd hand £60 cheapie P, set it up and dumped a second hand (£30 seems to be the going rate) SD quarter pounder into it then you are good to go. If you want a J or a 5 or 6 then you will be paying a bit more, but you get the idea. Tone REALLY comes from a decent power section in your amp. A nice pre-amp is nice, but with a weak power section it is useless. Even not-as-good speakers sound better with a decent power section. Of course we could all (and some of us have) spend £silly on basses, but a well set up cheapie through a decent rig will do the job fine and dandy.
6. The finish is a factory one. It looks like Gold leaves on a black background. I will get the owner (Tim, are you reading this?) to take better photos. The bass is in Holyhead, Anglesey.
What's with the finish? Fancy paintjob? And where abouts are you? Cheers!
8. I even gave him (yes, that's YOU if you are reading this Tim) a spare G but he did not seem to remember to put it on. Kids these days, huh?!
9. Selling on behalf of a friend it is about 4 months old but he bought a Jazz and this no longer gets any love. £250 and it's yours. Now £160 + carriage.
10.
pmd ya
And back.
11.
I think the market for this bass is very limited. You are looking for someone who wants an "improved" precision ( apologies to Leo Fender), with replaced guard, pup and a strange 5 way bridge with the string tree used to anchor the 5th string. And all for the bargain price of £350. Dream on.
Thank you for your words of encouragement Gareth. Have I unknowingly upset you in the past?
12. Bump for price reduction £90 + Carriage
13. Out of interest, would this fit a fender 5 string body? or warmoth equivilent? Probably not as the string spacing is quite a bit wider than any Fender 5 I have tried. Also it is for 35" scale and Fenders are 34". I'm not selling this very well! Is it 4/1 or 5 or 3/2 aside headstock? 3/2 Is it bare wood as apposed to paint on the headstock? Bare wood. Thanks Owen
14.
Is it Rosewood or maple?
Rosewood.
15. £70 posted No tuners, no neck screws or neck plate. Bare neck and nut fitted. It is in VGC. I thought I needed it. I have no time to make use of it.
16. Well, I certainly did not expect to find this polarity of opinion. I guess for me it is the very subtle groove that brings the funk to me. The economy of the whole thing but everything being in the right place. As the old saying goes, one man's funk is another man's muzak. I am resisting the temptation to double post this.
17. At least it's not just me
18. This is not going well.
19. I have double posted. What a total loser. Could someone put me out of my misery and delete this one please.
